Heartthrob Robert Pattinson tried to tame his unruly hair for the LA premiere of Twilight last night, though I prefer it when he lets it flow free. He posed with his onscreen love Kristen Stewart while thousands of fans screamed with excitement. The movie boasts another hot young thing, too, Cam Gigandet who is still Volchok from The OC to me. Wherever these kids go these days madness follows and Buzz sat down to chat with Robert about it all — check out part one and part two of the interview. Jennie Garth was joined by her husband Peter Facinelli, who is in the movie, as well as some of her 90210 costars. We'll see what kind of box office gold these pretty young things can rake in this weekend, but what do you say, do you have Twilight fever?
To see more from the premiere including Nikki Reed, Kim Basinger, AnnaLynne McCord, Jamie Foxx and others just read more.

i've wanted to get into this movie, but i haven't yet. the content isn't something that i usually go for but the cast is really appealing. i know that i've seen kristen in several other things so that would be the one draw to get me to go.
1I am very excited for this movie!!! I've had a fear of vampires since I was very young but for some reason I am so intrigued..cant wait to see it!
2I guess I've been under a rock. Never heard of the book or film until a couple of weeks ago. Kristen really impressed me in "Speak" so maybe this wont be as cheesy as it looks.
3Her dress is unfortunate though.
Ahh yes I think Cam Gigandet aka Volchek is the hottest! R Pats looks super good too
But Kristen Stewart always looks like she's on something ... her style is eh ... but I think Nikki Reed looks fab! She doesn't look good as a fake blonde but she looks gorgeous as a brunette,
i think i need to rent 13 ... i'm impressed she wrote it!
But ahh I am so excited for this movie ... i have twilight fever!!!
4kirsten's dress is kinda cute
5Kristen's dress is amazing! Love both colors and cut of it!
6Make the Twilight madness stop! *sigh*
I would love to take a weed whacker to Robert's hair. It drive me nuts. Cam on the other hand... yummy.
7I can hardly wait to see the movie! Where I live, it premieres December 12...
8Hope the movie lives up to the hype. My coworker has been reading the book series and says it's a great read. I think I'll skip it, it seems very teenagerish for me. I'll stick to my True Blood instead.
9Cannot wait for this movie!
10Maybe I'm growing on Kristen or I get used to her "pissed off" - look. Don't like her dress or body, she's way too thin for my taste. But I seem to stark liking her, I don't know.
11I pity these guys though. This fangirly-storm about them is crazy!!! They must feel like boybands do. It's not funny to get screamed your ears off by thousands of 13 yrs olds or mothers who are asking the boys if they wear briefs or boxers. I mean, what the..?!??
i hate Kristen and her pissed off look *_*
RPats is so hot ..so is Volchock
lol
Nikki Reed is from the OC too right?? SADIE
12Could Cam get any hotter? Damn.
13I've read the book and its amazing. I'm just scared that the movie is going to ruin the image I've had of the characters since I started reading.
14Peter Facinelli looks so yum!
15Peter and Jennie are so cute
16Exactly LikeThoseShoes...I'm not even seeing the movie, or perhaps I'll rent it when it comes to DVD and I know the status of all the reviewers. From the trailers, to me the acting (especially by Stewart) seems overdramatic and ruins the simplicity of the book. Hopefully it won't be so but I'm not looking forward to the movie at all.
When reading it, the dialogue doesn't seem too far-fetched, but hearing her in the trailers, when they speak "Say It {VAMPIRE]" and she goes on about him being "and your ice cold" it just sounds so cheesy acted out.
17Robert Pattinson and Peter Facinelli in one post?! Yay!
18Catherine Hardwicke puts Nikki Reed in nearly every film she directs (Twilight, Lords of Dogtown, 13). The only one she hasn't been in was Nativity! I guess there are perks that come with being the step-daughter to a director.
19So this is what it's like to be a full on adult. I have absolutely NO idea what "Twilight" is, but it has literally taken the world by storm...wow.
PS: I do know that the guy with the AWESOME hair played Cedric Diggory!!!
20thats a shame tiabia. i know plenty of "adults" that are as much in love with the book. you're missing out. maybe not on the movie but the book... definately
21I love the books. Robert DOES NOT do it for me. And Kristen Makes me NOT want to see the movie. Jennie Garth looks horrible here.
22I wont see it.WHen there is a huge bruhhaha about a movie normally its proven to be quite boring/
23I have no idea what these twilight books are about but i will probably see this movie when I see the DVD on the street here.
It's like the Harry Potter hype, it never caught me. I saw one and a half movie and it didn't do anything for me.
24Cedric needs to wash and cut that animal on his head.
25LOVE that strapless mini dress!
26Cant wait for this movie I plan on seeing it Friday!!!
27I'm going to see the movie this weekend. I really had fun with the books and am curious to see how they did the movie.
In defense of Rob's hair - I did read that he was dying to chop it off, but the PR people for Twilight begged him not to until after the premiere. I think he'll look much cuter with short hair.
I don't like Kristen's hair at all... her dress is cute but her hair is a mess.
28I am 38 and ended up reading Twilight to see what the bruhaha was about.
Yeah.. if you are tween you will obsess over the latest romeo and juliette version to hit entertainment.. it was a little too watered down.. like a vampire story for those who grew up watching the WB TV show line up.. I prefer my vampire love stories to be properly horrifying.. like the Vampire Chronicles (not the movie either
).
But I see where the hype comes from.. Though I think they picked the wrong Edward Cullen..
this is so going to be Netflixed..
29I read the Twilight books, they were a fun read and all but it's nothing special. Actually I stopped reading the last book, it was too much. I hate HATE the message it is sending to little girls: don't have your own life, you can only be happy and complete with a boy or else you should not live or function properly and neglect your family and other ppl in your life who care about you. UGH.
BTW I am totally TEAM JACOB!He's my favorite character, and he's real. I agree they picked the wrong Edward Cullen. Regardless, I am probably still going to watch the film though I have no high expectations.
Nikki Reed looks like a brunette Lauren Conrad in that picture with Kristen Stewart.
30I don't get this guy's appeal.... and it looks like his pants are too tight.
31I like the Kristen girl's dress... BUT as someone else has said, the over hype of this has already ruined it for me. Thanks.
32Uh-oh, Pattinson's got ceiling eyes in those pictures.
33this friggin hype is ridonculous.
i totally agree with you cupcakers, that last book was a total cop-out and sends the wrong messages to young girls.
34Kristen's dress is really pretty. I don't know if I will see this movie or not...honestly the books are not as good as people say they are, unless you are a tween or you love cheesy romance novels.
cupcakers, I hate the message of the books too. Getting married at 18 & giving up everything for a boy is not something girls should aspire to.
35Wow, dare I say it? Jennie Garth's husband is almost PRETTIER than she is. LOL
This will probably be like the Harry Potter movies for me. I had NO DESIRE to read the books or watch the movies until my kids bought the first movie. After I watched it, I was hooked. I have a feeling Twilight will be the same way.
36I don't get the fascination with Twilight movie/books either. But I must admit RPatt seems like a really nice guy in the interviews I've seen him done for Twilight movie promotion. And his hair kinda had grown on me. It has presence.
37Wow. I'm glad other people think the Twilight series sends the wrong message and the last book was awful. I was beginning to think I was the only one.
And I still want to take a weed whacker to Robert's hair.
38I gotta say...I was SO against all of these damn books. Like, any time it would come up in conversation I'd pause to vomit into my hand. I love Harry Potter and for people to say that this was BETTER than Harry Potter?! Blasphemy.
That is, until my roommate forced me to read the first Twilight.
That was yesterday.
I felt like a crack addict looking for my next fix as I trolled Borders looking for Part 2.
God, I am so eating my words right now....hate to say it, but the books are phenomenal. Cheesy, perhaps. But if you have even one semblance of a romance bone in your body, you'll be hooked like a goldfish.
Gotta get back to reading
39Alyssa: that's how I felt while reading the 1st book, it's totally addicting. You may be different but getting into the 2,3, and 4 you're like what the hell?! I can't stand Bella's character and Edward just gets more boring and over protective.
My little cousins are obsessed with this book and told me to read it, I'm shocked tweens are reading it since these books are way too sensual and sexual, like wow.
Definitely not better than Harry Potter, JK Rowling is a genius, I love the HP series! Stephanie Meyer is an amateur writer, like I said it's a fun read, but she's a horrible writer. Every other sentence is about how beautiful Edward is, please. Okay I'll stop my rant, heh.
40I don't get the hype over this movie
41but my friend is dying to see it...
Robert is not hot in my eyes either.
I'm sooooooooo excited for this, I already bought my tickets for Friday. I'm so disappointed that there are no pictures of Ashley or Jackson though
42cupackers - Yeah that was actually my main problem with Twilight, because I expected it to be as good as Harry Potter. Honestly, it's nowhere near as good. J.K. Rowling is a fantastic writer. Stephenie Meyer is not terrible, but her style is like a freshman in high school writing a paper for creative writing. What I like about the Twilight books are that they are easy to read and you can read through them very easily...
43Cupcakers - you're right on the money. I'm MAJORALLY struggling with part 2 (New Moon I think it is?) When did Bella become such a soft spoken ninny? She reeks of doormat syndrome and Edward has slight co-dependency/jealousy/manipulation issues. I'm getting a little bored...I want the dynamics from the 1st book!
44I got to see a screening last night and I can't stop thinking about the movie... I loved the books, but completely as a guilty pleasure. Yes, they are cheesy. Yes, Bella is not the best role model. But I just can't help myself - I love fun and mystery and I'm willing to suspend disbelief to be entertained and a little bit swept away.
I think they did an amazing job with the movie and made it as realistic as possible, considering one of the main characters is a sparkly skinned mutantly fast teenage vampire falling in love. I was completely transported into the fantasy and enjoyed every smoldering, sexy and romantic second. Yes, I'm an adult and I should know better than to swoon over this kind of thing... but it was fun as hell and I refuse to feel guilty!
45I am soo mad that they didn't have a premiere here in NYC. But on the bright side, they all looked gorgeous. I'm loving the black on black on Rob and Kristen's dress looks amazing on her.
46i don't understand the obsession with robert pattinson's hair
47Robert has something... I can´t say he is hot, but he has someting...
48I agree with donamaria sort of. He is kind of hot but I can't say that I'm in love with him. I loved the movie though. Kristen is ok when she is not on her front porch step smoking pot...
