Last week we heard that Madonna may be the new face of Louis Vuitton. Not only will she be the face of the luxury line on ads all over the world, but apparently Madonna will earn $10 million for the job. She's made many millions in the past promoting products like Pepsi and Sunsilk and modeling for Versace. Recently she's rarely been seen without this huge LV bag. So tell us — are you excited to see Madonna's $10 million LV ads?

I would admire her more if she gave the money to charity, or even gave her free goods to sell for charity. But she won't.

There was a time when models were used in ads, or for the covers of fashion mags.
All this celeb shilling - mostly for their own personal greed, rarely for charity - puts me off the... whatever they advertise. Be it shampoo, a coffee maker, mineral water, or other stuff. The consumer has to pay the celeb's fees, and I'm not willing to do that, they're more than just well off already without my having to contribute my share.

she just knows how to come it at her cost ya know? with the livenation contract she was able to up the ante and she's really iconic to everyone so i'm sure that the brand will see a lift. i think that LV is becoming a bit more mainstream in some of the products that are out there, so if this helps more people feel like it's somethign that they can have, the LV will be happy.

In re: to the legs and arms being really gross comment. ITA agree! I think the her and A-Rod relationship is totally a sham, and is only in existence to explain why they are spending time together. And why are they spending time together? Because I think she's using 'roids for those ridonculous leg muscles, and somehow I think A-Rod is involved. Haven't they seemingly appeared since those A-Rod rumors started? Yep, those sports guys and their 'roids. Alright, done spreading a totally unprovable rumor.

Her body is an interesting point. I think she's trying to redefine women 50 and over, but her idea of a strong woman is more literal than mine. When I think of a woman over 50 who is strong and beautiful, in a way that I might want to emulate, Susan Sarandon, Helen Mirren and Isabelle Adjani are names(from the showbiz world) that come to mind. Madonna just seems more obsessed with her body than being a well rounded individual.
Her kids are with their dads I believe. The boys were in England with Guy last week anyway, so Lourdes is probably in NY with her dad, while Madonna roams the globe with A-Rod.

Didn't she promote LV before? That wasn't too glamorous or interesting.
I'm so very unexcited to see even MORE Madonna. She annoys me to my core. 
I don't want to bash the woman, because obviously she is a success. but I think her time is over, we have seen what she offers, and I really think she needs to be happy with the money she made, quit the greed and do us all a favor and retire!

A woman like Madonna should be paid more. I Love seeing her everywhere. We should see more of her. Lot's lot's more. I will be buying lots of L.V. from now on.
