Angelina packed in the interviews while in the UK, the latest being with GMTV. She relaxed on a couch to talk about her family and what it was like making Changeling as a mother — she describes being "goofy happy mom" at the end of every day so thankful to know where all of her children were and not to worry about their safety. When it comes to the twins she opened up about traveling this time with just the babies, though she stopped breast feeding a month ago because it was too tricky to manage with twins. As usual she denied knowing anything about all the headlines and the only overlap of fame and family being when "we’re trying to get ready for some event where we have to walk a carpet and somebody gets peed on, and figures, ‘Oh well, I guess we’ll be wearing that this evening!’" At least she admits that she won't dramatically retire instead choosing to slowly disappear to spend more time with her family, which seems to be the only thing that really makes her smile.

It's completely bs that they don't talk about what goes on in papers, completely. I think their pr do tell them, especially brad, he is kind of like a control freak in that department. I am not fool by "I don't know what's going on in the papers business". She seems in control here and i think it's because her kids and Brad are with her. The other day she was depressed! Well she also has make up on here maybe that's why she looks better.
1And before any Jolie worshipers attack me, read my past comments please, I am not on any team, i think people tend to assume you are on a side when you say anything about these two women, which I think it's kind of sad.

11I do believe she doesn't know about the gossip, it is very easy to avoid them. If you don't read the gossip sites on the internet you don't have a clue about any of it. I have plenty of friends that have no idea about the gossip that is out there. If I were her I would also avoid it as it must be so irritating and hurtful to read lies about you and not being able to set it straight.
12It's great that she's found what she loves and can devote most of her attention to that.
With 6 small children and assorted businesses and causes to oversee, I'm pretty sure she doesn't take out much time from her day to worry about what bloggers think of her.
13She's got a lot going on. God love her. She took it on. And She seems pretty pleased with her life as is. Thats all most people can ask for. Fame and a family. The ability to help out and not just talk about it. I think it's great. She doesn't bother me. I like her a lot.
14ugh - i can appreciate that you guys all love her this much, but i can't stand her. i feel like this is all a persona that she's putting on and that it's not really who she is. she was sooo on the other side of the spectrum all those years ago that i can't see that she would change over.

22Haven't read anyone's post yet per my norm. I love her frankness, and her lack of concern for what anybody thinks or says about her. It's refreshing and interesting that the main quality that's said about her by people like Ron Howard, De Niro, Eastwood and more is that she's authentic. She doesn't even try to be anyone but herself and it's glorious. Angie, Pink, Whoopie and tiny handfull more march to their own beat and I love it.

26KathleenxCouture, good for your mom and I mean that sincerely. Some aren't as blessed as she to handle it as well as she. One kid was easy peasy for me and went till she was almost 1.5. The other two got the bottle at 8 and 4 months respectively because for some reason it was harder. Go figure. Angie could have not tried at all and Lordy lawdy what comments would that one have gotten!
27i love her. i dont think shes changed more than a normal person would growing up. i mean if all of us were in the public eye im sure everyone would think we've changed. its called growing up and maturing. i think shes still the same person she used to be shes just as open in interviews as when she was younger shes just as passionate about her projects and humanitarian work... i just think her focus has shifted more from herself to her family. thats a natural progression of being a mom.
on the breast-feeding comments, ive never breast fed i dont have any kids... but i can imagine that some kids are harder to breast feed than others. there isn't a universal standard for kids that all will breast feed. and i can imagine that it would take a while to feed both separately.
28Eh she's not missing much tabloid wise it is the same story:
1. Brad is overwhelmed by kids/travel/charity work and she is somehow forcing him to second parent adopt or knock her up.

2. He goes running back to Jennifer Aniston (as if Jen has nothing better to do then wait for Brad to come back to her
3. They're in splitsville. This is usually accompanied by a frowny face picture of them and a crying Shiloh.
4. Miraculously without any explanation they're back together and going strong.
5. She is pregnant or adopting again.
Every 8 months like clockwork (oh and in that period AJ usually has an eating disorder...as if they come and go like the flu).
29I watched this GMTV interview this morning before I went to work. The woman who interviewed her always does terrible interviews. She didnt ask her any questions about the film. It was all her private life. I thought Ang did well not to say 'HEY how about the film'.gmtv is inane TV though so shouldnt be shocked

43She does say that she expects to SLOWLY disappear from films. But that doesn't mean she will completely leave the spotlight, even if she does one day stop making movies. Brad may still act, and he produces, so they may be walking red carpets for many years. And she'll probably still be very vocal about her humanitarian work.
So if anyone really wants her out of their life, they will probably need to initiate that separation themselves.
44Still breastfeeding my 2 year old twins. My daughter had issues at first, and yet I still worked through them with her, expressing milk into bottles for her until her mouth was big enough to be able to nurse. I am still doing it. It's not that hard, it just takes patience and effort.
45I hate when women critize other women about breastfeeding. I have friends who have and still do breastfeed. When they talk about it they all have different experiences. One of my dear friends simply did not produce enough milk and had to switch to formula. Some had an easier time. I know women who did not breastfeed at all. No one has the right to judge just because they did it differently.
46Lovely interview. I think it's funny that she mentioned the peeing thing...I think that they said a few months ago that Brad got peed on by Shiloh shortly before the Kung Fu Panda premiere at Cannes.
ikay, I think it should be commended that she breastfed the twins for 3 months. Some celebrities do not breastfeed at all simply because they are afraid that their breasts will be "ruined." And Angelina DOES have a lot else going on in her life, namely raising four other children, doing press junkets for her movie, and going on humanitarian trips. She said that she breastfed the twins every 3 hours or so, which can take a lot of time and energy so I can see why it was difficult for her. She breastfed Shiloh for almost a year, but that was when she only had two other kids and she stopped shortly after Pax came into the family.
ilanac, of course she is different from how she was 10 YEARS AGO. People grow up and mature (at least, if they develop normally). It's not like she has done a total 180...she still is a bit "different" from the rest of the Hollywood crowd. The only thing that has significantly changed is that she doesn't do drugs or inflict self-harm, she tries to live in a more responsible way now because she has children. Why would you want her to be the person that she used to be?
