Jennifer Aniston was in business mode with her glasses on as she stopped by an office in LA on Friday. She's had her hands full with work lately as she keeps right on promoting Marley & Me, and her latest interview with NY Times Magazine was released over the weekend. Here are more highlights where Jen weighs in on her geeky side:
- On camera phones: "My favorite move is when people pretend that they’re on the phone and they kind of dial and take the picture at the same time. You hope they’re doing it for themselves — that they’re not thinking, I’m going to dine out on you."
- On her first TV appearance: "My dad became a soap opera actor, and I was an extra in a skating rink scene on the soap. I didn’t audition. It was nepotism all the way."
- On being a part of Friends: "When you accept a role in a pilot, you automatically sign up for five years. You think it’s scary to walk down the aisle? Try signing a five-year contract for a show you may not want to be part of down the road. That’s why 'Friends' was so great. During the first week of shooting, I thought, I’ll be heartbroken if this doesn’t continue. It was the first time I felt like part of the cool kids."

- On Facebook: "It’s not for me. I’d be opening myself up too much. I don’t want to sound like a complete innocent — I’ve looked at things, of course. But it’s such spewing. If I look at it, I’ll be affected. It’s like dancing with the devil."
- On the internet: "Here’s where I luck out: I’m really computer illiterate. When I see people on their BlackBerrys, working them like some girls work a hair dryer, I’m just stunned. People have sent me clips from FunnyOrDie.com or YouTube, but I never seek it out."

And I'm stile trying to figure out why her eyes look darker. Kinda reminds me of the time I met Paris Hilton in L.A. and she wasn't wearing contacts and it completely freaked me out to learn that her eyes weren't really blue.
15Jadeide, I DO wonder, to be completely honest. Jennifer Aniston seems like someone I would enjoy hanging out with in real life, someone who would fit in with the everyday people I know. Angelina Jolie seems to try very hard to hide the "holier than thou" that many of us see in her. I would HATE hanging out with someone who actually believes that her life should be used as an inspiration for the masses. Puh-lease. How freaking condescending.

If not by virtue of who she married, Vegas odds would be pretty strong in favor of her not being discussed daily, weekly, or even quarterly.

28i def agree with amandahuggin...she was famous with or without brad pitt. she has a ton of movies under her belt along with the most successful show friends...she def was NOT just brads wife. N BTW for those who DONT know..all those things you read about anger with jolie is all publicity for the upcoming movie. Notice how drama only shows up right before a new role or new project? its not coincidence guys....smarten up.

31For goodness sake, why must Brad and Angelina be brought into her posts. And the same goes for Brad and Angelina posts. It's going on 4 years now. They've all seem to have moved on. If you like Jennifer, that's awesome. If you like Angelina, that's awesome too. I just don't get why people need to demonize one or another, especially after all of these years.
And to the previous poster. I didn't say she's wearing contacts, I just said her eyes just looked darker. Believe it or not a lot of people in Hollywood lie about their true characteristics. Like Brad and George Clooney are not 180cm tall like it says on their files, they're more 178cm or 179cm tall. And some of the ladies I've met in person are not true size 0.

and yeah, people are shorter than they say. everyone adds two inches to their actual height. i met peter facinelli on saturday night at the beatrice inn and the guy is probably 5' 7" tops. robert pattinson, who was there with him, is actually very very tall...

35oh k amanda. yes they all do. due to my job, I've gotten to meet my share of celebs here and there, usually during the Superbowl or the NBA finals and it never fails to amaze me how different they look in person. Like Eva Longeria, claiming to still be a size 0, lady please. Victoria Beckham yes. Eva, hell no.
36My question is does anyone care how big or small these people are? Why is there a need to lie about being a size 0 rather than, say, a size 4? I don't care what dress size Eva Longoria fits into any more than I do about Posh. They are all silly.

38Amesbelle I think it's more on the pressure by the so many people, the fashion industry, movies, and public pressure in general for these celebrities to have this "idealized" look. The thing is, remove the celebrity status from them, and they are for the most part forgettable.
And you're right. I work with Athletes all the time. And they do lie about their physical status but I'm short, so they're all giants to me anyways.
