The New Kids On The Block hit the stage at tonight's American Music Awards to perform a medley of their hits both new and old. The guys danced like they used to and tried their hardest to hit the high notes. NKOTB has been working hard at their comeback this year and this is just another stop on the road. So check the video out below and tell us — New Kids On The Block medley on the AMAs, love it or leave it?

When were they popular? What year, I don't remember them, the only thing I remember is Joey McIntyre's one video "I love you came too late" on Disney Channel in between shows.
I looked them up on wiki and they are all 39, 38, and youngest is 35!!!
Totally embarrassing in my book.
1uhh i was never into the new kids...
2I cannot believe they were serious!!
3I thought it was fantastic and so was the concert i went to. When i was younger I could not afford tickets to go to concerts. When they got back together i jumped at the opprutunity of going back and enjoying the time. They are great singers and dancers and the album was a great one showing there maturity.
i think that it's really sad that in this day and age your thirties is considered old. They should continue to do what they do becasue they have tons of fans which shows in the concerts all over the country and the tour in Europe and Mexico. They are also great people who love the fans very much. So I thank them for a great concert in Sacramento, CA, and thank Joey and Jon for makinga fan's dream come true when they went in the cold hours after a concert to say hello to a handful of fans and give a hug and autograph. You truly made a dream come true and worth the wait.
4i honestly thought it was pathetic, they looked like they were trying way to hard, me and my friend were talking bout it while they were dancing, wow...
5i was born in 1988..so i never listened to any of their music, but i was embarrassed for them..they're my dads age!!
6they lookeed out of sync and urgh just bad
7Thanks for posting. That was the only part of the AMAs I cared to see.
I went to their concert and it was fan-freaking-tastic but I will admit that they didn't look too good here. They have been on the road for several months though, so they are probably worn out.
I'm glad they got back together. Like Michelle I couldn't go to the concert when I was a kid so getting to see them now was a dream come true.
8Jordan Knight has a good voice. It is a little funny seeing grown men in a boyband. I think they did an ok job.
9I was fan of the backstreet boys and Nync, and I think it is a little funny seeing the backstreet boys sing together now too.
10It was hilarious. Jordan sounded horrible. The only decent looking one is Joey. He's still got that babyface.
11THANK YOU for posting this, because I missed it tonight!!!!!!! I have to ask, first off--why is 35 "old" or "embarrassing" to be a pop singer?
I was a huge New Kids fan back in the day, so it's just so fun to see them together. Jordan Knight is still one of the best singers I've ever heard. AND they are all so C U T E!!!
Personally, I would've just stuck to one song if I was them, or just done a "Single"/"Right
Stuff" medley. They are my Tony Manero's, I love watching them dance.
In about 10 years, this is going to be Xtina or Britney or Nsync or whomever. What will you say then? It's nostalgic. Transports you to a different time. Puts a smile on your face. What's embarrassing about that?
12they rocked!!!! i can't believe pop is from boston and does not support new kids. even perez is behind them. support your local boys.
13yeah indie love, joey does still have that baby face, i had the biggest crush on him when i was 6--i always thought the rest of the were sooo ugly. this is the best throw back ever!
14they have done better performances, but i still like them. I used to have NKOTB lunchbox back then....
15man I'm an 81 baby and I grew up listening to these guys and I loved them when I was growing up. Now I'm quite embarrassed for them. Let it go guys. The boat sailed long ago.
16I thought it was really entertaining! I cannot wait until some of you are 35+ years old...wait and see if you feel too old to do what you enjoy...even better, I hope you all "embarASS" yourselves doing it!
17I thought it was cute...I'm an 83 baby and I remember LOVING them when I was younger... I mean sure they're not the young men they used to be...but it was fun for me to remember how in LOVE I was with Jordan back in the day....aaawwww NKOTB
18Awwww it wasnt great but it wasnt bad...it made me smile, esp at THE RIGHTTTT STUFFF....i was 4 and i had a new kids on the block hat and the dolls, etc. lol.
poor guys, hope they make some $ and retire
19it was sad
20Watching this makes me terribly embarrassed for them and for my little 8-year-old self. I at least hit 10 and outgrew it! Although, I'm a little disappointed that I threw all of the memorabilia away.. seems like there are enough people liking them that it could have been a good Ebay sell
Next we'll be reliving Vanilla Ice's early days and MC Hammer's Hammer Time. EEK!
21They were just a bit before I really got interested in music but I did playback them with some friends at a playbackshow
One the ne hand I think they should let it go but on the other if they are having fun, why
not? Probably filling theit savings up a bit again!
22well done boys!
23I literally laughed out loud.
24LOVED IT!!!There Just as Great as EVER Not sure how people can call em OLD Your only as old as you make yourself feel Hell It hasn't stopped AC/DC , metallica,or Aero smith and there twice the age as NKOTB
25i voted leave it, even though i was singing along with the songs last night. there's just something to be said about these guys trying to regain their fame and all that - and it just didn't work for me. donnie was the only one that was still even a little cute and it made me wonder why i thought that they were so wonderful all those years ago.
26Leave it. I started cringing and had to change the channel...
27Ugh, they sound horrible! They should have just left it alone.
28Love it!
29OMG..so hilarious. Its really sad. I think the performance stunk, their vocals are painful and the sun has set on NKOTB.
Jesus on a cracker that was bad!
30I'm pretty sure when he introduced them he said 1998 not 88
31I loved it. They are great performers. Their live show is awesome .. wish I could hae been there.
32LOVE IT. The performance was great, the crowd response was even better, and as they wrap up their sold-out North American arena tour (and prepare to head to Europe), this was a great way to cap off an unbelievably successful 2008. Go KNOTB!
33LOVE IT. The performance was great, the crowd response was even better, and as they wrap up their sold-out North American arena tour (and prepare to head to Europe), this was a great way to cap off an unbelievably successful 2008. Go NKOTB!
34I LOVE these guys! I'm loving the new stuff! Keep it comin' grown men!!!
35Great job guys. You rock! Hope to see you again on a summer tour!
36If you would have gone to the their concert, you would have thought differently. I was a little underage to fully appreciate them but I went with friends and it was the most fun I've had at a concert in a long while. The medley was not the best, but they still sound the same. Thats what is so great about it.
And btw, Joey was 13 and I think Donnie was 17 maybe- so they arent old at all now.
37Joey Mac was definitely my first celeb crush and still is one of them, LoL! I absolutely love the New Kids and agree with everyone who says they still rock it! I went to their concert in November and let me just say it was GREAT! I hope they stay together and keep on touring cause I will keep on going!
38I LOVED IT!
39the only embarassing thing was me squealing while my boyfriend looked on in horror
I love nkotb, jordan is my baby he is such a great singer. I don't understand how anyone can call someone in there 30's old? um okay you don't stay young forever I bet some of you won't look or dance as good as them in your 30's. keep up the good work i love ya sooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!! when you have hater's you know your doing something right!!!!!!!!! go Joe, jordan ,danny ,jonathan and donnie you all got the right stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!
40Well, I'm glad I signed up on popsugar. Now I know that 30 is officially old and I can retire in about 3 years. Are some of you serious? I wonder if you all think Madonna and Janet are as old as you're making the New Kids out to be.
I thought they were great. Very high energy. Enjoyed every minute of their performance :] They still look hot and can still dance their asses off so I don't really see what the problem is *shrugs*
411998? More like 1988!!
You guys, 30 is not old. I don't know what planet you're on.
42I'm so old school , I loved it!
43First for all you haters You guys are just J-E-A-L-O-U-S... YUP.
I mean sure their tone was a lil off at times but I'd like to see all you A@#Holes Sing every night driving from town town sometimes state to state to perform for the fans who loved them back then and the ones who are learning why we fell in love with them to begin with. So if you think they had an off night go ahead and think but they still sounded and performed great. Even if you think they are old I bet They look better then any of you haters out there that don't know what your talking about.
For all those NKOTB fans like myself keep listening to their music Man they were hot last night.................
44Love Them!!!!!!!!!!!!
45LOVE them..saw them in concert a few weeks ago and AMAZING!!!
46LOVE NKOTB!!
If you notice the AMA's was full of 15 & 16 year olds, no wonder is considered old.
Remember EVERYBODY gets old.
The industry love to have teens as their stars cause they are easier to manipulate.
47WOW I'm baffled at some of these responses.
48The fact that Jordan still sings the same way is a treat.
I didn't think they sounded bad at all...they sounded and looked great.
I've been to 4 of their shows already and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been too.
For those saying you were embarassed, or they are too old etc..I really hate to see how you live your life.
I don't think that performance was bad or embarassing at all. I think they sounded and looked great too...well, Jonathan looks akward, but he did back in '88 too. : )
LOVE those guys!
49Oh man...when "The Right Stuff" came on I jumped up and said "I love this song!!" My boyfriend looked at me like I was crazy!! I loved their performance!
