Britney Spears did her best to make her way through LAX today with her dad Jamie by her side. She's scheduled to make stops around Europe later this week, but while she's performing overseas we'll be getting ready to watch For the Record this Sunday, and even before that, you can listen to the full album on imeem now! Britney's manager Larry Rudolph opened up about why she decided to make the documentary, saying that the pop star wanted to tell the story herself and that she's finding more happiness every day, despite still being in a sad place. He said:
"She's already in a much better place than she was not that long ago and she knows that she's going to be in a better place a month from now, six months from now, a year from now, etc. That's what keeps her going. She's doing what she loves right now. Every day she's found more happiness in her life . . . We get along very well. I understand her better than everyone other than her immediate family. The bottom line is I think she's amazing. I love her. She's been a big part of my life, and I've been a big part of her life. Being a part of this new phase in her career is something I was very open to."
As Britney continues to keep her career on track, apparently she's also been arguing with her dad for more control over her personal life, but for now it's just full steam ahead and time to get back on stage.

well i think that it's good to know that her manager is still by her and that he's stuck it out (with a brief little vacation so to speak). i hope that things continue on the same path that they have been and that there's hope for her to get all that control back so we can see her grow up and truly be happy.
1of course she is not okay! the girl needs a quite life now and all she has is a promoting album and tour coming!i really fear for her about what expects her in tour ... honestly, she needs to be away from all this spotlight ... well, but this is my oppinion.
2This has nothing to do with the article, and I apologize for that, but I have to make an observation. Why is it that every time I see a picture of Britney Spears, unless she's performing or at some kind of fancy-schmancy event, she looks like utter sh*t??
3I mean, I know Celebrities are Human just like the rest of us, but seriously. The woman obviously doesn't take care of herself or give a GD how she looks. She never wears make up or does her hair, her clothes are always sloppy and sometimes don't even match! And what's with the hats? The ugly, manly, boring hats? WHY DOES SHE HAVE SO MANY OF THEM? WHEN WILL IT END?!
I wish her luck and hope she continues down the right path. Her album sounds pretty good and I will be downloading a few tracks when released.
4I really liked her album, i will buy it for sure!!! I am happy she is getting back on track.
5Agree Justlookaround. I think this is too much, too fast for her. I think the return of the hats is a sign she's getting overwhelmed.
6just looking at these pics make me feel sorry for her. mental disease is torture, and i dont think she should be forced to tour right now. sure, work can be a positive distraction, but for her it is so much more exhausting than therapeutic. i have a feeling we may be reading her name in the obits soon.
7I still don't think this all adds up. A tour is a lot of pressure if she's really mentally ill. And who lets a mentally ill person make a video like this?
A lot of her behavior *could* be mental illness, or a bunch of other possibilities.
8I agree with a lot of the comments here. I don't see how all these hectic schedule and all these pressure is good for her. I just hope that the ppl around her is doing what is best for her and not just what is best for her music career.
She does not look happy at all in these pictures and I really wish that magazines stop buying pics from paparazzi. Those paps can drive ppl nuts.
9I agree with most of you also. Her dad should not be pushing her so soon for a comeback. Let her take at least a year off to heal. Just spend time with her kids and relax. You think they would learn from the past, she will crack again if pushed too hard.
10And, regarding the comment about her clothing, in her state of mind she probably doesnt give a sh*t about her appearance.
I think she'd go crazy if she took a year off.
Music and dancing is what makes her happy. If she occupies herself with singing and dancing, it's a good thing for her. Although, I think it's the live performances and especially interviews that she despises. She's not ready for that, mainly about people pinpointing her every move and then being asked the inevitable question of how she's doing after the breakdown and so forth. Moreover, she's very self-conscious and extremely shy. Therefore, it can bring her down when it gets too much in her face.
