well this isn't one of my favorite looks for her, but i guess if she likes it right? i liked the look from the other day with the pink/peach dress. that was more her style. in any event, i think that she's right - carrie wouldn't necessarily make a good mom - i think that she could do a good job, but there was always soo much back and forth about whether she wanted to be one or not during the series that i think we're resigned to her being just a godmother to her friend's kids.

SJP can do no fashion wrong as far as I'm concerned, she's fab!!!

Boy, I hate the idea of Sex and City sequel with Carrie having a baby. Not trying to be mean but the ladies on Sex and City are past baby age. In fact, I really liked Sex and the City but think there should not be a sequel. Leave us with good memories.

Mod16, you're kidding right? This is what women look like minus all the plastic surgery and injections. As emiad said: "Welcome to the real world" and believe it or not you'll age one day too, unless you've started a fund to try and hold nature at bay (which IMO always looks ridiculous.)

As far as her not looking "glowy", judging by the rest of the photos, everyone is looking slightly sickly (notice how they all look like they have no face colour -- blush, bronzer -- and are wearing a nude lip.) I'm guessing the lighting was perhaps too bright and washed everyone out.

I think black is not a good choice for her skin tone, too harsh. Softer colors are more flattering on her.

Also the comment about how old she looks is just juvenile. What, better to look like Pam Anderson, everything fake over 40?

I love Sarah Jessica, but she looks tired. She isn't wearing her wedding ring and she's got her hand over her finger like she's missing it. I hope those rumours aren't true. I love her and Matthew as a couple.

I don't think she looks old, she just looks tired. Not just "I didn't get enough sleep last night" tired, but exhausted. Her smile even looks a little forced :/ Eh, every picture can't be a winner, right? Hopefully she gets some rest.

Yikes! Seriously...what's wrong with injections?!? I won't ever look as ragged as her, cuz I started getting Botox before I have wrinkles (it's a preventative, not corrective procedure if you do it right, and I'm 26). She can certainly afford it....and if she wants to keep Matt around and interested, better invest in it! Hollywood is fulll of beautiful, perfect people....it's not the place to be claiming a statement like she THINKS she's making! BLEEECH!

And can I just point out.....Vanessa Williams gets Juvederm and Botox, and she looks FABU! I've seen old movies of SJP, she wasn't very good looking back in the 80's, so I guess that's just the way she looks and ages.

Aging happens. It is better that she looks her age rather than having the horrible mask look some celebrities have. It is sad to see that we are so afraid to look our age that we get botox at 26.
There is nothing wrong with trying to look our best but come on people get older.

Agreed lazybones101. We all get older and there is nothing wrong with that. I am so happy that SJP didn't succumb to the needles. She has always looked fine.

As for this pic, she just looks tired and the hairdressers didn't do their job properly. The dress itself is gorgeous IMHO
