Robert Pattinson did his best to protect his head from the rain under his hoodie in LA earlier this week, but there was no hiding that now-recognizable face. Twilight is already breaking records at the box office, though we'll have to see how it stands up against all the new heavy hitters that are opening this holiday weekend. While many of you would rather stick to the book series, we have a feeling that Robert's huge fan base is already counting down to the next movie now that he's signed on for a sequel.

We went to see this for the second time this weekend
I cannot remember the last time I did that...
1i for one can say that i'm thrilled that he's signed on for new moon and i hope that they make eclipse and breaking dawn (and even midnight sun) into a movie. now that i'm reading them, i can't help but to picture him in the book.
2meringue - we did the SAME thing! it's sad but i would even go see it again....a third time. that's something that i didn't even do for SATC
3I've seen it three times.
First time - I nit picked EVERYTHING that was different from the book.
Second time- I read Midnight Sun prior to going and then it all made sense and I saw things I totally missed at first.
Third time- Just enjoyed EVERY second of it
Hee! This is the ONLY movie I've seen three times.
4He looks miserable. Haven't seen it yet.
5Is it just me or do both main actors of Twilight looks like junkies sometimes?!
6I saw this movie at least 20 times. I saw it at the movies once. Then i keep watching it online. I wonder if he likes black girls. Gosh I want to do bad things to him.
7Swoon. I'll he likes to party hard, but he's still young. And now a huge star. Hello - he got a $10mill raise for the next two movies plus part of the profs from extras.
He's hot. He's really the only actor that I've ever truly loved that is younger than me. But there is just something about him.
I've seen the movie twice in the theatre - the first time I have ever done that. It was my first midnight showing (waited 2 and a half hours on line) and then I saw it that following Saturday. My sisters have both seen it 3 times. We all loved it more after the first time.
8i pretty much find him devestatingly sexy in the movie (partially because i loved the books) but in pictures from his real life, he doesn't really do much for me (though he has a nice smile which he's not showing here of course!). i agree with whoever said that kristen and him look like junkies sometimes. i know that whole grungy look is in right now, but the unwashed thing doesn't really work for me.
9He's hot!
10It's funny, I've seen him in interviews and if I hadn't known it's the same person, I probably wouldn't even have recognized him in "Twilight". I really love his interviews though, he seems like such a fun guy. And I lived in London for a while, so I have a soft spot for his (real) accent.
11I am head over heels for this guy! LOLOLOL I am 14 years his senior and the epitome of a Twilight Mom. I knew that my 12 year old daughter would come in handy one day!!
12*wink*
13I read all the books before I even knew they were making a movie about it. I never understood the appeal of RPattz, until I saw him in the movie and now I am in love with him! I saw the movie for the second time this Saturday and will probably see it again with my 13 year old sister who is the biggest Twilight freak.
14Pop, leave my man alone.

16I don't think he's hot at all
17moonygrl - midnight sun isn't out yet...it was leaked but that's not the final version. i'm not sure which one you were thinking about .
18I saw this with my daughter (11) not really expecting to like it, but I loved it and now need to read the rest of the series. I had read the first book already and she has the next two. This movie was so romantic and just really good. It was cheesy in some parts, but it was really good. We are going to see it again in the next week or so. I can't remember ever seeing a movie twice at the theater. Wow!
19p.s. I LOVE his singing voice. Oh my goodness, I love that acoustic, folk music thing anyway, but wow...sexy.
20I want to see the movie again. he was so freaking hot in it. i can't wait to own the movie and watch him over and over and over. my date called edward a master pimp and it's really true. he's irresistible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! loves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
21Before I saw the movie, I thought he was kinda okay-looking, but in the movie...DAMN! He's so hot.
22I just don't see his appeal, I can understand why girls are crazy over him but I don't find him hot at all. I've seen him in interviews on tv and read articles, and like his down to earth and a little goofy personality. He plays a good Edward in Twilight.
23I Adore him completely!
24Oh my good God...never have I EVER had a celebrity "crush" before. I adore him. Absolutely ADORE him. I think I literally drooled a few times while watching this movie....I'm just...stunned. Hahaha put my name on the list!
25I can't wait for it to come out in Australia! only 11 days to go!
I agree with the poster that said that he looks sexy in the movie but not in real life. From Harry Potter, and also from the trailers I've seen, I think he's just gorgeous.
But then when I saw this pic and recent pics I'm just like, cut your damn hair (or at least wash and brush!) get some decent clothes and stop looking like a hobo in a bus shelter! LOL
26He looks pretty hot in the film, but not in real life.
27I love him in Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire. Haven't seen Twilight yet, but reading all of you gushing about it is making me want to see the movie so much. Will try to catch it this weekend
28I like him but not the book or movie...
29i have to agree with all the 'he's hot in the movie but not in real life' comments - that's kind of how i feel - but that's ok. i can just stare at the movie poster.
i think that all my co-workers are getting annoyed with me - i have the sound track on my ipod at work and i play it over and over again.
30I'll take him anyway I can get him!
31Wow, well I actually hated the movie but loved everything abotu Edward. I do not find Robert that good looking in real life, but he played Edward so well and made me fall in love with him!!!
32I'm interested to see him in this just to see how much better he can do. In Harry Potter he did a good job, but his part was so small he didn't really get to spread his wings.
No, I haven't seen the movie yet. I am waiting for the DVD, because of all the people I know that have read the book and seen the movie, they've said the movie was highly disappointing.
So, I'm now reading "new moon" and waiting for the DVD of Twilight.
33I think he looks hotter in the film, but he just comes across as a really fun (if somewhat wacky) guy in interviews. I actually developed a bit of a crush after watching a few of those, e.g. this one:

Madchen I agree, that's why I really like him. I read an interview in where he said one of his favorite movies is Corky Romano, that he pissed his pants from laughing so hard because it's ridiculous. And he goes into detail about the deleted scenes and stuff, he won my heart over on that haha because it shows he has a corny sense of humor.
35Love him and agree with much of the above:
36a) yes, he (and Kristen Stewart) often look like junkies
b) he is utterly charming in interviews
c) so effin' hot as Edward
d) young party-er - that's kind of a word, right?
e) gorgeous!
mykie - i'm soo obsessed with the books now. i got twilight at the airport on my way TO thanksgiving, read it all on the flight, then got new moon and read it all that day, then flew back on saturday - got eclipse, read it all that day, and now i'm reading breaking dawn. it's addicting!
the books ARE better but the movie was pretty good too
37The books and movie are really good! I can't stop reading. I've read the series once already and now I'm reading again. I'll probably read 20 times! It's really good! I wish the DVD for Twilight would comeout already! I can't wait!
38i've read all the series and i really really do love it...watched also the movie several times and i can't help it...wanna watch it over and over again...(whew)
39Geeezzz!!! They sure do get up all in their face don't they? But it is to be expected. I mean come on, it's Twilight!
