She hasn't really starred in anything to claim a notable acting career other than "kids movies." Sounds like Georgia Rule isn't doing so well. Basically (and sadly) I think she is a media star and not much else-yet, hopefully she does get serious about acting. She has nothing to base her diva attitude on. I think she is beautiful but she hasn't gained my respect as an actress.

She has a responsibility to fulfil her commitments, and when she doesn't show up on set for 2 weeks straight, the production company still has to pay the hundreds of people that were suposed to do work that day, as well as refigure all of the permits and technical aspects of filming. Putting shooting behind also traps the other actors in the film with you, if the shooting schedule runs late (they can't move on to next project).

People who excuse her behavior obviously don't remember that her actions wasted a TON of money that wasn't hers. If she would rather party than work, she shouldn't sign a contract to work on the movie! Simple.
