Penelope looked flawless in her white suit at the opening of the Unbreakable Kiss Mistletoe installation in NYC. Yesterday was World AIDS Day, and $5 will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation for every couple that kisses under the mistletoe through Thursday. We wish we could see Penelope puckering up to Javier in the spirit of the holidays, but apparently the couple may be going through a rough patch. Hopefully they can work things so the duo can celebrate their Independent Spirit Award nominations for Vicky Cristina Barcelona together.

9Independent Spirit Award? Do people really consider her a good actress? She always plays the cliché of temperamental Mediterranean woman over and over again. I liked Vicky Christina Barcelona, but to me Rebbecca Hall completely stole the show, not Javier or Penélope. Even though I'm Spanish, I don't get the success of these two.

16Aquamarina, I was just expressing an opinion. I thought that's what these threads are for. You got it wrong: it's not that I can't stand her, I've got nothing against her as a person. I just find her a terrible actress. And that's it. There are many other Spanish actresses that are far more talented. If you and the people from the Independent Spirit Awards have a different opinion, that's completely fine, I just disagree.
I would suggest you to write in English so everyone can understand.
