Michelle Williams sipped a coffee while Matilda munched on a snack as the mother daughter duo took a walk in chilly Brooklyn yesterday. The ladies have Winter ahead of them, but there are plenty of sunny things to look forward to in 2009. Michelle scored a lead actress nomination for an Independent Spirit Award [1], with Wendy and Lucy and her film Synecdoche, New York [2] earned an ensemble cast nod as well. Last night Michelle got her award season started at the Gotham Awards in NYC [3], and also made time for her man Spike. Hopefully with a hard year behind her, Michelle can spend the rest of 2008 enjoying Spike and Matilda and preparing for good things to come.
