Jennifer Aniston is on the cover of the latest Entertainment Weekly, posing with a canine companion in the spirit of Marley & Me. She's been extremely open about her personal life over the past few weeks, and she kept that up by using her interview to respond to all the recent pregnancy rumors. Here's more:
- On the rumors: "Oh my God, it's hysterical. It's almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, 'I'm pregnant!' Everyone will be like, ‘Yeah, right.’ It’s the boy who cried wolf. Stop stealing my thunder, motherf---ers!”
- On Vogue's spinning her Angelina comments: "I was just surprised that Vogue would go so tabloid . . . I was bummed. But you almost expect it. Big deal. Done. Next."
- On getting pregnant: "I'm on the verge of it in some way — or it's something I long for."
Her desire to get pregnant could explain those recent doctor's appointments, but even if she and John Mayer are getting more serious, we'll wait to hear the exciting truth directly from the source.

Why are there alawys rumours about her being pregnant? I'm so fed up with that. Everytime the tabloids speak of her it's always something like
"How Angelina destroyed Jen"
or
"Jen and Brad's secret visits"
or
"Jennifer: Possibly pregnant!"
I am just so sick of the same old bullsh*t. come on everybody!

26I don't think she's backpeddling at all. She's not taking her quote back that she gave to the vogue intereview. Her comment is "I'm was surprised Vogue would go so tabloid." and it's true! They essentially took her quote about angelina out of context, put it in ginormous letters next to her face on the cover and made it sounds like the whole interview was about the triangle. POOR TASTE VOGUE!!!
But she puts it all in perspective when she says "Big Deal. Done. Next." She's over it, I'm sure angie's over it, and frankly who cares if brad is; he's getting his year check in with Ann Curry and the coverage that comes with that.
She's damned if she refuses to speak about them (people will accuse her of being jealous/bitter) and damned if she makes a couple of passing quotes to satisfy the interviewer (quote taken out of context, blown up big, etc)...
I think she's going to pull a halle berry and essentially get pregnant with John's baby and just take it day by day. She seems a lot less concerned about the white picket fence sort of image than she used to.
PS I want that puppy.
27I love her! There is something so natural and sweet about her. I can't wait to read this article. I think she'd be a great mom but if John Mayer is her choice for baby daddy, I think she should just do it on her own. This interview, though, looks hysterical.
lawyerjenn [+] : You're exactly right, whole comment. They took her quote completely out of context to brush up sales for their magazine. It's so beneath Vogue to have done something like that. Frankly I feel bad for her because you know interviews are peppered with questions about Brad and Angelina all the time. Having to hear that all the time has to be hard. And it really saddens me that she got so much cr*p thrown at her for that comment when it was Angelina who said something bad--oh, you know that she fell in love with Brad while he was still married to Jen. I like Angelina too but there are times when I think she uses the humanitarian work and her kids to get away with doing destructive and hurtful things. People think of her as some saint and Jen as the whiny ex. Neither is true.

34I remember one quote from Jen, I don't remember the exact wording, but she was laughing and said something along the lines that if every tabloid rumor were true, she'd have like 19 kids, have been married 15 times and was so clinically depressed that she had to have supervision at all times. I don't know the full quote, but I remember how funny I thought it was because it just proves she can laugh at herself. She doesn't take herself too seriously and that's perfect for her. I think her fans & non-fans take it all alot more seriously than she does. Good for her!
35i like her. she's never too serious, never too b*tchy, and can laugh at herself. she obviously has opinions, but like most public people, is careful about crafting an image, never getting too offensive and generating enough buzz.
overall, i am sick of her being connected to brangelina, but i'll still read EW. Hopefully she'll have no other mention of that couple. Their interviews are pretty good.

40She looks lovely, I love that picture! I'm with Mykie here, I'm interested in her for other reasons than her private life. I think she's good in comedy and she's also done some good dramas. I'm looking forward to see Marley & Me, Management and Traveling. I think she knows that a lot of people only care about her private life, but that happens to a lot of Hollywood stars. I think that if she's in all these covers now is because she's promoting Marley & Me. I know that they aren't asking anything about the movie, but it often happens, not just to her, that an actor is supposed to promote a movie and the interviewer asks about other stuff. Jen has her fans and her detractors, it will always be this way : )
41tuscanstellina [+] : Um, well she's promoting a movie so you'll see a lot of her. Its part of promoting a movie. The Vogue article was also promotion for the movie. Then tend to inundate you with the actor/actress before the movie comes out so you'll be more inclined to go.
And same could be said of Angelina. She's pretty press-chatty as well.

44It's weird. I like her as an actress but the real life version irritates me. So much Aniston everywhere! I know she is drumming up interest for Marley & Me, but seriously, go away, Jen. Go make babies with John Mayer (or not). Move to China and learn Mandarin. Go write a screenplay. Just go do something out of the public eye, just long enough so we can forget about you. All this exposure is just overwhelming.

48Wade, I don't think 40 is too old to have a baby but fertility seriously decreases after 35 and even more each year. She said in that Vanity Fair article that she wanted to get married again, and have 1 or 2 kids. All I'm saying is that she is not 21 anymore...if she wants all those things, then she should be with someone who wants that too. I never thought that John Mayer would be the guy for her, but maybe he will prove me wrong and I hope he does.
I just think of her bff, Courteney Cox Arquette, when I think of this situation. She didn't have her first baby until she turned 40 and she hasn't been able to have another one since and she's 45. Granted, Courteney has fertility problems but we don't know if Jen does either. I really do hope that Jen does have kids, partly so the tabloids will lay off of her like LOVE ANGELINA said, but she seems about wishy-washy about it. She's "on the verge of pregnancy?" Um, ok.
