Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart grabbed dinner together at Il Cielo in LA earlier this week, joined by Christian's wife Sibi. The partial Dark Knight reunion is never really complete without Heath Ledger, though his memory will live on through Award Season and when the movie is rereleased in January. While Maggie Gyllenhaal may not be your favorite dramatic actress of 2008, Ledger's name should be on everyone's minds when the time comes and hopefully this is just a sign that Christian and Aaron are ready to hit the red carpets again, even without their friend.

2well they've all got about another month and a half before the re-release, but i wonder if they will have to promote it again. it's going to be interesting especially since it'll be right around the anniversary of heath's death.

Heath better be nominated and win the Oscar! He was incredible in Dark Knight.
6I was just looking at who the most likely contenders are for academy nomination this year and there weren't many strong contenders, which I hope helps Heath. (Because films like this don't usually get actor Oscar nominations.)
Milk and Revolutionary Road seem like they might have some of the other strong actor performances for this year, plus some buzz on Brad.
7I really dig Aaron Eckhart, he's a 'fly under the radar' kind of guy, he's played some great parts and it doesn't hurt that he's sexy too! I'm hoping with him that the best is yet to be.
