3I understand people being sensitive to the whole plane crash ( my blessing to the families) but some people are way to sensitive. It was a parady for the show lost and the office . Out of pain comes laughter. Oh and what about the accidental nipple slip from the girl from the office on the stage when they recieved there emmy? what are people going to write in for that and say they were offened...oh wait im sure people have. geezz....

Matt Brodrick and then girlfriend Jennifer Grey (his sis in Ferris)were driving in Ireland and had a head on collision with a mother/daughter. One or both were killed (I can't remember). Rumored to have caused their break up. He had a scar on his chin from the accident.

18Matthew Broderick killed two people in that accident. The mother and her daughter. It was a head-on collision, and if I recall correctly, he was driving on the wrong side of the road. (They drive on the opposite side from US drivers.) He broke his leg and paid a small fine for the accident.

20Sorry, JennaV, I have disagree with you on the "LOST" bit of the emmys. The crash happened 2 hours before the ceremony started. Everyone involved was probably running around the auditorium...not chained to their tvs watching the news.
Terrible things happen in our country everyday. We can't expect every aspect of our society to make any topic that might somehow be related to that into an immediate taboo. That is just completely unreasonable.
21Well...considering it was a plane crash that took 49 lives and ALL of the media knew about it...no, it was not unreasonable. The crash happened after 600 in the morning EST. I don't know where you got your info from, but that is highly inaccurate. I am sure it would have been a different story if someone knew someone who perished in the crash.
