Jennifer Garner and her mini partner in crime had a day out in LA yesterday, stopping by a friend's house and heading to the Grove. There was plenty of giggling to go around as Jen and Violet did some shopping and stopped to check out the fountain show. Violet must be getting excited as the holiday season continues, but for now she seems to be just as happy to enjoy all the festivities leading up to the presents and family time.

Okay, okay, I LOVE Jennifer Garner and really adore Violet (and Ben, too, for that matter), so normally I overlook her bad outfits (she's pregnant, it's understandable!) and defend her against those who crucify her clothing choices.
BUT... the striped polo and velour pants are taking it too far! Jen, you're cute, you're sweet, you have an adorable family. Do not wear this look ever again. I implore you!

7I love that Jen doesn't put together a perfect Hollywood Mom outfit to hang out with her baby. She is so authentic and seems so loving. It's not her priority, who cares! That smile on Violet's face probably makes her care less about her clothes. What a radiant child.
8Fifafifa, do you think she should have worn high heels and a tiny dress just like Victoria Beckham ? Really, especially since she's pregnant, it would have been soooooo comfortable...
And yes, I know there is a huge gap between high heels and velour pants, but hey, you know what ? She does exactly what she wants to do and basically, it's not our business !

22I'm with you fifafifa! The shirt was just a little too much. I remember how exhausted I was in those last months of my pregnancy. There were days I would have gone to work in my bath robe if I could have. Violet is just too cute!!!

Lol, I love Jennifer Garner. And Violet is adorable! I hope after she gets some quality time in with her kids she returns to tv, I'd love to see her in some new action or drama!
26Maybe she snagged that shirt from Ben's side of the closet in a pinch, rather than buy a bunch of late term maternity clothes. It looks like she might be several months along.

29Hey, we all have good days and bad. She looks comfy in those clothes. Better to be comfy at that stage of pregnancy than uncomfortable. She and Ben seem like great parents and little Violet is adorable and seems well adjusted.
30I love Jennifer and Violet together. I just wish Jenn wasn't carrying her around so much. I know they have the paparazzi to contend with and the fears of Jenn's stalker, but let Violet walk. It's not good to be carrying a child when you are that far along. And what is she going to do when the baby comes? Carry both of them? What an armful...
31I am sorry, but I have nevrr dressed this way..not even on the worst of my worst days...and I know plenty of pregnant ladies, that never dressed that way either...no matter how crappy they felt...
32starangel82, I was thinking the exact same thing! Violet is, what, 3? She is definitely old enough to do a little more walking.
33She's my favorite Hollywood child. Unlike Suri, she's not spoiled and clothed in designer duds. She's allowed to be a kid, and a smiley one at that. Good for them! Jen and Ben are great parents.

35i agree with fifafifa, i also defend Jen's choice of clothes against all of you's who critercise her and with what she's wearing. but this time maybe Jen could've wore jeans with that stripe Polo? although those black pants look kinda comfy!
