In the January issue of O magazine, Oprah reveals she has gained 40 pounds back after dropping down to 160 and that she is "embarrassed" and "mad at herself" for still having weight problems and being back at 200. — AP

As a plus size girl myself, I can understand where Oprah is coming from, but at the same time, she can hire chefs, trainers, instructors, dieticians, etc, etc. Instead of complaining about it, get back on the wagon and loose it. It sounds like she wants to anyway.

I have very little sympathy for Oprah and her weight issue... I've lost 30 lbs by myself. Imagine what I could do if I had her resources.

poor oprah - that has to be frustrating to have everyone in on what you're doing in your life and to make such a big deal about weight and all that. i'm sure that she'll figure something out though.

as for mariah - um...well...i don't know what to say about that one. i'm not sure we're ready for a little baby there just yet.

magazines should all know better about publishing photos like that especially for someone as high powered as she is.

congrats to josh and wife. that's great news!

lots of people are being foreclosed on lately - it's hard to think about how it's affecting more people than you would think about - but then again, she's just the AI winner - it's not like she's a multi-millionaire or anything

In a way, Oprah's fight regarding her weight is a reminder not to make excuses, because it clearly isn't all about the personal chefs and trainers. Obviously that stuff helps, but at the end of the day it isn't a cure-all. Anyway, hugs to Oprah- even if she annoys the hell out of me she clearly has nailed that whole "beautiful on the inside" thing, and that of course, is what really matters.
