Jude & Norah showed off their best toothless smiles for the paps in Cannes today. Their movie My Blueberry Nights is kicking off the festivities, but there are tons of films that we can't wait to hear about. What movie at Cannes are you most excited about?

Scholl
Hogan
Uniqlo
I would say Jude's film. It sounds like my cup of tea!
1A Mighty Heart and Oceans 13!
2I would say My Blueberry Nights, I would be curious to see Norah act. Plus it's Natalie and Jude again, I loved Closer.
3i voted for a mighty heart only because of the story behind it not because of angelina jolie at all
4I'm with you Lucilu! Those are the two I am most excited about too.
5hey jude!!.. love ya...
6International movies the ones with no famous people in them cos all the ones with "celebs" usually suck bad.
7I wish I could find another Yesterday, Kung Fu Hustle and Monsoon Wedding. All festival releases all amazing movies.
8Jude Law
He is my new crush.
9None of them actually.
10Well sadly to say celebs sell movies. They do. It doesn't mean directors don't care about quality works though, it just mean they have to bargain hard for who they want as leads. I think quality works always shine through though. Look at brokeback! Heath and Jake were B list but they did well, didn't they? The squid and the whale was also brillant
11I love the squid and the whale. FANTASTIC SCRIPT!!!!!!
12I wanna see Ocean's! But I'd see Jude's as well!
13Andaman, celebs have the power to get movies made but not necessarily to make them hits. Angelina has a lot of fans but The Good Shepherd didn't fare well at the box office; Brad's Troy bombed; Lohan has tons of fans and her movies bomb. When Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt did The Mexican, everyone thought the box office would go through the roof but it didn't.
14oceans 13 and a mighty heart
15Totally agree Skinny fat. The little movies are always the big hits or surprises, or as we say silent assassins. ANyone remeber KungFu Hustle. I almost wet my pants laughing and it made me a big fan of Asian cinema.
16Ocean's 13 but not the reason given. I love the twists things not seen till later
17Jude Law`s
i love him !
1811th Hour
19ocean`s 13 sounds good too !
20One of my very favorite movies last year was Little Miss Sunshine...the little movie that could
21ocean's 13. great cast
22I'm ridiculously excited about the first three movies.
23andaman: I agree about The Squid and the Whale, great movie.
Skinny fat, that was my favorite movie too! YAY! We have something that we both agree on!
24bibi, i bet we agree on more than that
25the mighty heart is such an amazing story, I can't wait for it. I'm also a big jolie fan. I'm excited for the 11th hour too.
26I like that there's a lot of movies coming out (in the future and the last couple years) with so much to show. Racism, homosexuality, war, global warming. All issues people like to avoid, but need to be brought center stage so we can deal with them. Celebrities that use their fame to bring awareness are A list in my book.
love you Norah
27A Mighty Heart! I seen the trailer yesterday and it looks amazing! I cant wait until it comes out!
28Ocean's 13! I love the twists and turns and the gorgeous men don't hurt.
29There have been movies made about racism, homosexuality and war since the advent of the motion picture
staring with Birth of A Nation by DW Griffith in 1915. From IMDB.com "Two brothers, Phil and Ted Stoneman, visit their friends in Piedmont, South Carolina: the family Cameron.
This friendship is affected by the Civil War, as the Stonemans and the Camerons must join up opposite armies. The consequences of the War in their lives are shown in connection to major
historical events, like the development of the Civil War itself, Lincoln's assassination, and the birth of the Ku Klux Klan."
30I'll definitely be waiting for Jude.
31Blech!! Jude Law's chest hair makes me want to
32Of course theres been contreversial movies all since movies started. But the regulations and the things that can be done are different now. That's more what I'm refering too. The way things can be presented is a lot more open and free than in the past. I mean Lucy and Dezi slept in Separate beds in I love Lucy! Now we can show more of the truth of things. Also, just think about the sheer volume of movies being made. Hell, I could make a movie about something I believe in and I gauarantee that through the internet it would be Seen. So we have more people making important films/documentaries/etc, and there's not so much pressure for it to be a hit. It just needs to be seen. Granted not all are like this and I love the gross comedy as much as the next person and most movies are made to make money, but I think nowadays there's more of a chance to underdogs to speak their mind.
33I love Norah Jones!
34I understand what you're saying Renees3 and I'm not sure of what current/future movies you are referring to that are going to depict "more of the truth of things." I'm an avid movie fan and think movies are getting worse and worse. Hollywood keeps churning out crap.
35i hate hairy men
36AGREED SKINNY FAT, THAT'S WHY THEY KEEP MAKING ALL OF THESE SEQUELS, VERY RARELY IS THE ONE FOLLOWING BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL...
37sorry for the caps! And I meant about the churning out crap, they want to capitalize on any success they have ad nauseum...then very rarely does a movie like Pan's Labyrinh (which I love!0 get the attention it deserves
38yeah, CatarinaBella, add to the dreaded sequel all those awfulmovies based on old TV shows (Bewitched) and cartoons (Flinstones)and don't get me started on the remakes
39I'm curious to see how Norah does with her acting. The girl's gorgeous with musical talent - if she can act too, I'll either love her even more or decide to despise her out of pure jealousy.
40Well yea, believe me I Understand that there are FAR more horrible movies than good. I too am a Big movie watcher and I've seen some real bad ones, But like CatarinaBella said, Pan's Labarynth? Awesome! little miss sunshine, the pursuit of happyness, crash etc etc. What I meant about the truth of things is that they can show things as they really are, like my example, no need to sleep in separate beds, heck let's have a movie about 2 men in love. I just think that a lot of people are trying to make movies that make people think and wonder. There's plenty of big budget blunders, but with the amount of them made, for every 1 good there's at least 100 bad.
41I kind of want to see A Mighty Heart. That story really tugs at me.
42ocean's and a might heart.
43We own the Night, Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Walberg but mostly Joaquin
44My Blueberry Nights.
(Jude rules!)
45Guess why...
None of the above!
46Forget the actors. I ADORE Wong Kar Wai! He's a genius.
47I love Norah Jones!
48Both Blueberry and Mighty hearts.
49Skinny Fat -- sorry to disappoint, but Troy did not bomb. It had a production budget of $150M plus $45M for advertising, but it grossed nearly $500M worldwide.
