Angelina Jolie looked casually pretty at the premiere of Gran Torino in LA yesterday. She continued her streak of giddy behavior, which is still a bit of a surprise but that's nothing really compared with the peek-a-boo at Monday's Benjamin Button premiere. On that red carpet she had nothing but praise for Brad's movie saying, "I'm very, very proud. Mainly, I have seen everyday he went to work just how hard he worked, how hard the director worked, and Cate -- and just how dedicated they were. It's been a big process; it's a very trying film. So, I am just so happy that it came out so beautifully and their work is going to be recognized. . . I cried, it's so beautiful. It's so touching. It's lovely; it's just a wonderful picture." Both Brad and Angelina have buzz-worthy movies this year so we'll start to see what kind of recognition they'll get tomorrow when the Golden Globe nominations come out bright and early.

i forgot that the GG noms were going to be named soon - i really to wonder what the lists are going to look like. i feel like sometimes people try really hard to pick projects that they'll get nominated for - and i'm not sure that it's the best way to frame your career. we'll just have to wait and see.
as for angie gushing - it really is out of character for her - i wonder what's brought this on.

4She's a mom and partner, but I love that she is still her. She didn't change or do a 360 from her past (that she isn't ashamed of), buts she's matured to an even better Angelina.

10I like her bigger too, but she only seems to be able to put on weight if she is pregnant or puts on muscle (ie Tomb Raider).
11I like her style and Jennifer Garner. They're not slave to fashions and just wear clothes that's comfortable for them. It's nice to see a star wearing just regular clothes instead of looking like they stepped out of a fashion mag every time they go outside.

17beautiful indeed - she could be wearing a potato sack and still look amazing (stealing Tom C & Katie H's fave word here) - she's perfectly dressed for attending a premiere that is not hers so as not to "steal" the spotlight but I guess she still did because she is ANGELINA JOLIE and hers are the only pics I've seen of this premiere.
