Britney Spears has updated her website with a new missive! Yay, gift! In the spirit of her previous letters to her fans, it's just that special brand of quirky only Britney (or whomever writes these things) can muster. She also included a "photo of herself" that looks like Brit's head from 4 years ago wearing a wig and photoshopped onto some random's body? With some fancy white gloves? Point is: girlfriend doesn't look like that these days. Anyway, here's what Brit Brit has to say:
The reason for this letter is to let everyone know that their prayers have truly helped me. I am so blessed that you care enough about me to be concerned and will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time. We are all the lights of the world and we all need to continuously inspire others and look to the higher power. You are all in my prayers.

15One of my friends showed me a magazine that came out today called "Make Up Artist" that is for professionals. The cover says, "Digital Deception: There Is No Truth In Beauty".
The cover is a picture of a 70 year old woman, half of her face has been photoshopped to look like the same woman at 22! FREAKING AMAZING what they can do with photoshop! I think most people don't understand the extent to which they can alter an image and make it look real!!!

What about those pics in the earlier thread today with that blue dress, ripped up fishnets and bald spot in between her frayed and bleached looking extensions? I didn't see any of her fans rushing to defend that look. Where are all the "Oh, Princess Britney is so beautiful" posts in that thread???
Comeback.. yea.. well.. everyone has got to have a dream. But I would be less surprised to see her back in rehab or under medical supervision than I would to see her headlining a stadium tour like she used to. A few 12 minute lip-sync routines on club stages does not equal a come-back. At $35 a ticket, I doubt she even got any money for those shows and it probably all went to the dancers, club, production, etc.
