Owen Wilson got to walk Jennifer Aniston down the red carpet in her hot LBD, but it was John Mayer who got to take her home after the premiere of Marley & Me last night. Though he was out to play supportive boyfriend along with friends like Courteney Cox, the media had plenty of questions for John. The hot topic of the night was Jen's sexy GQ spread, and John joked, "I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here. No, don't make me hold it — you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die." When asked about the cover herself, Jen said that she "wasn't trying to make a statement," but it sounds like her photos had a pretty big effect on her man of choice.

it's always interesting to me to see how folks react when they see their SO in a racy picture like that. to be honest, i don't think that there's anything overly out there about the pictures, but that's just me. it's nice that he's finally going to events with her and that they are comfortable enough to walk the red carpet.

Why does everyone here care so much that others might have an opinion of a celebrity that differs from your own? When did that become a crime?
Anyone who disagrees with your personal opinion and perception has to be a "wacko"? Are you kidding me? LOL.
Finally, why should the fact someone else might not like a celebrity have any impact at all on whether or not you do?
I'm really interested to hear why you just can't like your celebrity of choice and allow others their own opinion--unless of course you have your entire life savings tied up in said celebrity's stock and you don't want to see it fall. Hee

17And what is up with Mayer's outfit. This is her big LA premiere of her biggest film in years and her date shows up in a rumpled shirt, casual pants, and what looks like a jacket left over from the Sgt Pepper set. Was it too much trouble to tuck his shirt in?
Look how all the other men around him are dressed. He's not edgy enough as a musician to justify some distinct look, it just seems lazy and last minute, and makes me still think he's just not that invested in this relationship.

A celebrity who has as much money as Jennifer Aniston isn't exactly a worthy charitable cause--so it all seems a great waste of energy to me. And it's unlikely any one operson is going to change another's opinion, so why try? *shrugs*
For the record, I was a *huge* fan of Friends back in the day and loved the Rachel character. But she's not that character; she's an actress. And now my perception of her is a woman who probably would benefit greatly from letting everything that happened with her ex go for good, and maybe not talk so much about a private life she claims she wants to keep private.
