Madison Square Garden got a little more festive — or just plain hot as in the case with Rihanna and Chris Brown — at this year's Jingle Ball on Friday night. Rih and Chris weren't the only exciting act as acts from Leona Lewis to Katy Perry to the Veronicas took the stage as well. Busy Kanye found a moment to write about being impressed by his own outfit before performing the following night on SNL. David Archuleta surely made the crowd of teenage girls swoon and is dominating Buzz's pop album of the year poll. It was quite a night of music for the packed house as they danced their way though performances from some of the year's biggest acts.

1For some reason he looks photoshopped into that picture with Rihanna. Or, alternately, it looks like someone is wearing an oversized, cardboard cut-out mask of his face. It's creeping me out.
i heard all about the show - and i was thinking about going but i was supposed to be out of town this past weekend. i've gone to the jingle ball in the past and it's certainly a great environment for teenagers - i always feel old when i go.
2The only time I seem to see Kanye smile is when he's posing for a pic with Beyonce. Weird. Maybe he's like Posh and thinks he can't pull of a smile generally?
3I'd punch Kanye in the jaw but my hand would break...I can't tolerate him past his music and even that is wearing thin
