The Garner-Afflecks went out to Sunday night dinner at Toscana restaurant in LA for some family time before they become a party of four. Jen looks like she'll finish out the year pregnant, and it was Ben's job to carry Violet out after dinner. The actor had a big smile on his face, and a day of charity work could have helped put him in an excellent mood. Earlier in the day, he helped put together care packages to send to the troops as part of Operation Gratitude and in celebration of sending their landmark 400,000 package. In return he was given an American flag, which had been flown in his honor in Iraq. Ben knows the importance of giving, especially when it comes to so many of our young men and women abroad this holiday season.

She's growing up to be incredibly darling.
1Someone else posted this previously, but I have to agree, I don't think I have ever seen this child on her own two feet.
2I'm sure the child is ambulatory, but her parents choose to carry her around everywhere. Violet is adorable! She may not have the most symmetrical face, but I think that just adds character. I had the same look when I was her age, and I grew up to be a beautiful swan LOL. She seems happy and well adjusted, and THAT is most important. Ben looks very handsome with the short hair, much better than Fugly Mayer does.

7well i think that he does a nice thing there by helping the troops and i'm sure that's it's really well received. i think that we're all really excited to see what the new addition to the family will be - and hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer!

And as for Violet never walking on her own two feet...have you ever seen the media circus that follows Jen around? I'd be so frightened, I'd carry my kid around too.
