8I can safely say I could never wear fur. I think I would feel disgusting in it. I would feel so bad about the animals. Everyone is allowed to wear whatever they want, but I just personally couldn't wear that stuff.

29I don't think she looks good in these pictures, and I think they could have done waaaaay more, especially in the dust storm pictures and the cloud one. They are boring, and there is so much space in the shots that isn't being used in an interesting way.
With the lighting and the "stuff" in the air, they could have made them look so much more enchanting. Yawn.
30Ugh, here we go. Time for the Peta activists to wig out at the magazine and Kate. I dont agree with fur----at all. I dont agree with it's excessive use and how it is obtained. The extracting of fur is absolutely gruesome and uncalled for and not needed. The idea of an animal(s) being ritually slaughtered for fashion totally sickens me, but forcing someone's beliefs on other people is not going to cause them to change and throwing "blood" or paint on people, especially rich people-celebs and magazine/fashion heads, are not going to cause them to go "hey! You're right! Im so sorry!! No more are we going to do anything that causes us to gain millions of dollars and tons of publicity for me!!!" and this is coming from a long time avid vegetarian. You need to educate-not use violence and force to prove your point. Doing such just causes animosity and anger and desire to use fur (or whatever the case may be) to rub it in someone's face out of spite. I do wish they would stop or at least cut back on the fur use. It's not needed. Plus, it's hideous. Ive never been a fan of the fur look-real or fake...too poofy for my taste. But Im also against telling others what they should do with their lives or forcing my decisions or beliefs on another person. I hate how society and government are constantly trying to force me(us) to live by their own choices-force me to believe in a specific god or religion and live my life by the guidelines laid out by a specific religion or faith, force me to have a child I dont want or cant take care of and even the ability to use birth control to prevent such from happening is something they are trying to take away, force me (I dont, but hypothetically) to not smoke or even smoke a d@mn joint, forcing people not not be GLBT by making their lives hell because of who they love and something they cant help. I know how sh!tty it is being told how to live your life by people who dont agree with you-There's no way in hell you could make me do the same or join in the club, even if I myself dont agree with the specific action. It's not anyone's place to say that they should not do something(unless it's something major, obviously, like rape, abuse, murder, robbing.....crimes). But I myself make a conscious effort not to participate. /rant over ;)Had to get that off of my chest. I ran across some depressing article a bit ago online that had to do with such things so...it got me thinking...

I accept the peoples opionions that say these photos are beautiful, but I don't agree with them nor do I appreciate people calling fur beautiful. Fur is only beautiful when it's still attatched to the animal that it belongs to! The end.

36when it comes to saving a LIVING animal from the torture of the fur trade, i hope PETA never stops! it's not just a "personal choice" someone makes when they decide to wear it, it is contributing to the suffering and torture of these beautiful animals-- and in the most direct way.
i say the only way these overpaid mannequins should be able to wear fur is if they hunt, kill and skin the animals themselves.

42luvdaisy- Honestly, if it would have been one fur coat, I would have just been like "Ugh.. I hate Kate and hate when Celebs were fur", but the fact that it was so many coats, which is a heck of a lot of animals that had to die, really set me off!
