Britney Pays Jamie More and Still Has an Eye For a Bargain

Britney Spears looked cute in her striped cardigan as she made a trip to Target in LA yesterday. She didn't have her boys along for the ride, so perhaps the pop star was picking up a few last minute holiday gifts. Britney can afford to skip the bargain shopping, though these days she's got a little less pocket cash since her dad is getting paid even more to act as conservator. Jamie Spears deserves fair compensation for helping his daughter become the most improved celebrity of 2008 and nothing says that more than an adorable happy holidays card from Brit and her boys.

Isn't she still not allowed to drive a car with her boys? That may be the reason she didn't take them shopping.

Her father deserves fair compensation for putting his life on hold to revive hers, and help her get her multi-million dollar career back. Most men his age are working to save up for retirement and he's out of that loop.

I could not pay my Dad to tell me how to spend my money. Couldn't you pay someone else to do this? You would save a lot more money if you didn't have to pay him. Seems strange to me.

She was paying a LOT more money to other people, who were helping her blow through hundreds of thousands of dollars every month on cars, hotels, senseless shopping sprees and whatever else.

If she didn't have someone like her father taking responsibility for her under conservatorship she probably would have been locked up, because she wasn't (and legally still isn't) capable of making her own business decisions. Her father has saved her far more money than she pays him. He had to give up his own career to step in though, and she's a 24/7 job, so he deserves compensation.
