Maggie Gyllenhaal wasn't taking any risks against the cold while Peter Sarsgaard toned it down a little out in NYC earlier this week. The couple is used to the brutal East Coast Winter at this point and seem to have found plenty of ways to keep warm and happy for their walk. Peter and Maggie seem relaxed at the moment — with Peter even joining the 2008 mustache crew — but they're both set to star together on Broadway starting mid January. While their daughter Ramona might be a bit young for the subject matter of their stage performance, the trio is all together for a new set of holiday memories.

I like them, haven't seen Ramona in a while.
I love Maggie Gyllenhaal!! Peter Sarsgaard looks a lot older in these pics; must be the mustache that's aging him a little.
Hey, the brutal east coast winter you refer to will reach 65 degrees on 12/28! That's around NYC. Today, it's about 45 degrees. So, one day brutal, one day not soooo brutal:)
Great couple. Would love to see them on Broadway together.
We saw Peter Saarsgard on Broadway recently and he was either very miscast or just not a stage actor. I was disappointed since I love him in every film he's been in. I'd like to see him in something else and find out which it is.
I think they're adorable
Love Maggie.
These two are so cute! And I love Maggie's jacket - that looks so warm and toasty!
I love them! Very cute couple and seem down to earth
They compliment each other. I like them.
Marci- I saw The Seagull with him too, I am guessing that is what you saw since it closed a week ago. I loved the show, and although I thought he was the weakest one there, I mostly think it was because of the accent, also everyone else was so good!!! He played Trigorin very oddly, but I think it worked. Iw ould love to see Three Sisters when they are doing it.
I love her. She's a great actress!
i love these two together.
maggie is so gorgeous!
Aww. They're cute.
They're so adorable together, I'm so glad they found each other.
i like that she doesn't do the whole hollywood fashion shtick, it says a lot about her.
mswender, yes it was The Seagull I saw him in. I didn't find the accent bothersome at all; I just felt like he was nondescript in that role; that he didn't encompass the character. He didn't make me feel that Trigorin was someone women would lust after and almost fight over, which was what the story was all about.
I'm a fan of his so I'm looking forward to seeing him in Three Sisters. We can compare notes afterwards!
i think that it's nice that they will be working together - i just hope that it doesn't get to be TOO much time spent together since they will be working EVERY DAY on a play
One of my favourite celeb couples. They're just so cute together.
depends what day they were photographed- cause early last week it was 14 degrees! that is brutal cold ot me. but later in the week it warmed up a bit!
I love me some Sarsgaard. I can't wait to see their play.
They make a nice couple. I can't believe they will be on Broadway in the same play at the same time - that must be exhausting. I wonder who will watch Ramona?
So cool that they are both on Broadway at the same time. I would do that to keep my family together if it were possible.
