Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal headed up to her house in Ojai, CA this weekend after celebrating his 28th birthday together recently in LA. They put on their puffy jackets and sunglasses yesterday to hit the farmers market before joining Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan for a hike. Jake and Robert worked together a few years ago on Zodiac, and they have a lot to bond over considering all the time they're spending in London these days filming Sherlock Holmes and Prince of Persia.

Reese and Jake called the paparazzi, as they did so many times before, and they are all smiles for them. How nice! LOL
Reese and Jake are almost as tacky as Heidi and Spencer!
2Zodiac is one of my all-time favorite movies; I'm glad their weird friendship has continued! I like Jake and I love-love-love RDJ. Although he and Reese Witherspoon seem like the unlikeliest of friends.
3Why would they have cause to call people who more than likely follow them from their homes every day? I've seen a lot of pics of Reese jogging - somehow I don't think she dialled those in.
I suspect they're smiling because *shock* they're happy.
Funny this, if a celeb doesn't smile they're labelled permanently sour and if they do smile they're loving-the-attention wh*res. I think the best thing a celeb can do is ignore the consensus of general opinion because everyone's got an one and it's hard enough pleasing one person all the time, let alone several hundred.

Jake or Reese aren't Britney nor Angelina, they don't sell tabloids.
They call paparazzi when they want their pictures taken or they simply visit loactions where you can count on the paparazzi, like Scott's restaurant in London.

you have to love how celebs make friendships and stay friends with each other over the years. that's a pretty cool couple if you think about it.

Papz don't need to be called by A-listers. Anyone who thinks they aren't followed unless prompted obviously has never been to Los Angeles or NYC. I've seen them sit outside of homes just waiting for the newspaper to get picked up. I've seen them hangout all day in the Farmer's market parking lot and then follow stars throught the stalls.
12I think they are happy too, and generally don't care one way or another if people are taking their pictures. They just live their lives. Its nice to see Reese with someone that looks happy to be with her, and her with him, unlike sour Ryan, who always looked put out to be hanging around his own wife.
Reese and Jake seem very much equals in their careers and have lots in common with how they want to live their lives.

15What a joke these two are. More PR BS here. Ever since Jake got back into town, they have been photographed everywhere. The paps knew where they were at because THEY called them. And yes,Reese is wearing hair extensions for Jakey boy.

17I live in Ventura, but usually go to Ojai Farmer's Market on Sunday. Of course, this was the once time I didn't make it!

18RDJ looks hotter than usual in those pictures with Jake. I love Jake too! One of my favorite scenes in Zodiac is when Jake orders a blue drink and RDJ says "Okay, this can no longer be ignored" haha.
