Actually, Top Chef/Project Runway aside, I'm over reality TV in general.

My bias isn't really against MTV or reality... it's against shows involving women spending ridiculous amounts of money to be "fabulous" and/or shows about rich people rubbing their wealth in my face. This stupid show happens to do both.

I disagree, EmyAnne. I feel like normal average people should know that just because a bunch of kids who have rich parents can throw their money around doesn't mean they can. If people realized that they should live within their means, we wouldn't BE in an economic crisis.

Never seen any of these shows, never will. For starters, they all talk like they have a speech impediment "like... well... (croack) (sigh) it's not like I really meant to call your phone and then hang up and then call by mistake and then call again for real but hung up again... I am, people like, do that, you know? (rolls eyes) These are real issues, and I want to talk about them, but yeah, but no, but yeah, but no, whatever, shut up!"

Sadly I will probably watch this. Who knows, there might even be a new Spencer and a new Heidi that will steal the 15 mn of fame from the original ones. I really like this Heidi, I mean this idea. Imagine, could someone actually out-spence Spencer?

I will watch the first episode because I'm really curious to see how NYC is portrayed. I saw what they did with LA on The Hills and my friends and I laughed all the time.

I think Whitney is one of the only real people on the Hills and the only one who has a real career. I would understand though if no one wanted to watch her show The City. I guess the Hills drama is too enjoyable lol. But, I still like Whitney and I will watch her show.
