Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were out shopping the after-Christmas sales in LA on Friday. She swapped her sunglasses halfway through, while Joel was responsible for hauling their multiple bags back to the car. Nicole's the one famous for her fashion, but Joel's next project might involve a few costume changes of his own — he's apparently been taking acting classes and has even lined up a role in an upcoming MTV movie. Joel already has a busy work life with Good Charlotte and all his DCMA ventures, but it looks like multitasking runs in the Richie-Madden family.
