With all due respect, you are wrong...
With regards to your GG comment that it WASN'T held last year... It was! The difference with previous years was the Writer's Strike - Which caused the Globes NOT to be SHOWN ON TV last year. Instead, the winners were announced in a quick "press conference" reported on news & entertainment shows like ET, etc. the day after the show WOULD have aired.
