Kanye West seemed to be in good spirits out in LA after a meal at yummy Houston's this week. It's been a rough year for Kanye and the paparazzi with two different incidents [1] where it turned violent [2], but maybe he's turning over a new leaf for 2009. One thing we won't be doing is seeing Mr. West out partying anywhere tonight — according to his blog, he's staying in on New Year's Eve [3] for the first time in five years to enjoy a little down time instead. Considering this hard worker says he never takes vacation, he must be pretty beat to take a break after a marathon 2008.
