Movie Preview: Veronika Decides to Die [2] Based on the bestselling novel by Paulo Coelho, Veronika Decides to Die stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as a young woman who tries to commit suicide, only to end up in a mental institution with a weakened heart and five days left to live. The trailer is actually quite artful and lovely. There's little dialogue, mostly it's just beautifully sad, evocative images and music to go along with them.
