Maggie may be ready to pop shortly, but that's not about to slow her down. The glowing mom-to-be came out Tuesday night in NYC to premiere another one of her new films, Sherrybaby. But it turns out the first stages of Maggie's pregnancy weren't so easy for her, and all she could eat was watermelon and tiramisu. Here's more:
"In the beginning there were just things that I had to have and eat nothing else except that thing - like watermelon, which is hard in February. There were things that made no sense, too. I had my brother staying with me at one point - he and Peter, they were running around the city trying to find something that I could eat. I was really sick. They came back with pasta and steak, Saltines (crackers) and all types of things and I couldn't eat any of it. Then my brother handed me a spoonful of tiramisu - just sugar and cream - he said I sat up like a mommy and ate it!"
Looks like she's feeling better now. Maggie definitely has that pregnancy glow. Or maybe it's the Oscar buzz glow she is receiving for Sherrybaby. Looks like Maggie has a big year ahead of her.

I watched david letterman and she said she sat up like a mummy not mommy.
1She really does look lovely. That dress looks marvelous on her. I was the same way in the early stages of my pregnancies...could only eat light stuff like jello, and broth!

11Anyway, when my cousin was pregnant with her first child, all she could eat was taco bell bean & cheese burritos for the first trimester. Toward the end of the pregnancy, she was carrying around a "spit mug" because of all the excess saliva. She had figured out a way to make it look like she was sipping tea instead of spitting.
I threw up 4-10 times a day everyday from just about the moment I became pregnant till the day I gave birth with both my boys. 9 months of hell times 2. I was allergic to the prenatals(and threw up) and I was allergic to the medicine they gave me to stop throwing up which made me throw up!! I am jealous of anyone who gets thru that stage to the beautiful glowing stage. She looks fantastic here. I wish. I glowed green.
12you know before she was pregnant i never thought she was attractive but since she has become pregnant she's absolutely stunning.

16I wasn't too bad sick-wise with my daughter but with my son? Yikes! It was around the clock severe nausea and vomiting for about 5 months. Like you Ima I threw up the medicine that was supposed to alleviate the nausea and vomiting. Nothing but good times LOL!
I always thought she is sooo pretty. She has a unique face and seems to have a really great personality...You can definately tell her and Jake are related, though I think I may be the only one who thinks Jake is not the least bit attractive, for some reason...and his acting sucks,imo..Maggie's is alot better.

18The first stage is so hard. I either slept it away or with my first two, I was so sick I ended up on meds and lost 20 pounds from morning (ALL DAY) sickness. Glad she found some things she could tolerate.

23I saw that David Letterman, and she was adorable in that interview. She even matched wits with Dave, and I respect anyone that can do that.
