Jessica's whirlwind tour of Cannes to promote Major Movie Star is over. She's already back in NYC, but before she left France she took time to sign autographs and show off her honey colored hair. In the upcoming film she plays an actress who signs up for boot camp when she is sick of being typecast into blonde bimbo roles. Jess says that the movie's striking resemblance to Goldie Hawn's Private Benjamin is no mistake, saying about Hawn, "I adore her and look up to her. I aspire to be her." As for her break-up? Rumor has it that she and John went on a date last night, and John was seen leaving Jess' NYC hotel room with a big smile on his face. Hmm, so much for our trying to help find her a new man?
In other Jessica Simpson news, she is planning on expanding her line of shoes and bags to include intimates inspired by the Jess. Jessica described the collection as "fun, flirty and exactly what I would want to wear.” Papa Joe must be so proud.

Short, curvy, and muscular. 1950's dresses are not slimming on us. she's cute, and i wish she'd just take it down a notch. Personally, I like her because she's not stick thin but still looks attractive. I have struggled for years with body image issues and I like it that she's confident and struts her stuff. She just needs to keep it a little more natural and low-key.
