Brad Pitt got up close and personal for yet another W Magazine cover. While he's promoting Benjamin Button, he also clears the air on all of the Jen and Angelina drama. Brad usually doesn't address the so-called feud, but this time he defends his partner while also saying kind words about his ex-wife. Here's more:
- On Jen's "uncool" comment: "Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created."
- On his relationship with Jen: "We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life."
- In defense of Angelina: "What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all."
It sounds like Brad understands that Jen's statements were taken out of context and he balances his respect for both women while maintaining how he and Angelina fell in love.

Brad's words were clearly chosen carefully on all fronts and he manages to come off charming while navigating tricky subjects. We might even get the chance to see him tonight if he makes a surprise appearance on a taped segment for the People's Choice Awards.

And as a 38 year old who grew up as a fan of Brad.. I love these photos that are honest about his age and show so much character. How refreshing to see wrinkles and flaws in the days of the photoshopped to death covers and still see the handsome man there... I say kudos.

Angelina Jolie has never ever once volunteered an opinion about Jennifer Aniston, and the only time she's ever publicaly said something about Jen was when she was asked about her in Vogue, and it was the interviewer who broached the subject. Realistically speaking I don't think any of us would be holding onto and crying over a relationship that ended 4 years ago. Can you imagine if some guy you broke up with 4 years ago kept coming up in your life and people thought you were still crying over him? How ridiculous would that be?
That being said I do think Jen is a very savy business woman and she answers questions ONLY when it will benefit her and her career moves at the moment. She knows that it sells and she knows that people will suck it up and ask for more. Brad and Angelina know all of this too and all 3 of them play the publicity game.

I will admit I have more time on my hands but if u do some research look at interviews did before Marley and Me promotion tour you will see what I am talking about. She does mention at least once that she and Brad don't talk...and all of sudden they do talk...sounds like Brad just being polite. Can't imagine what he has to say to her. So what I say are not delusions of grandeur and I never act like I know them on a personal level...I just know what I have read and heard from their mouths.
