Beyonce took a break from her world tour to make a pit stop at the Cannes Film Festival with Jay-Z. We know he likes to stick to the music (have you heard the latest remix of Rehab with Amy Winehouse featuring Jay?!?!) but B has been dividing her time between music and film in the past few years. She spent a long time working on Dreamgirls, but now she's back on stage. She's gotten a lot of positive feedback in both industries, but we want to know - do you prefer Beyonce as a singer or as an actress?

I said neither but if I had to pick, I would say singer.
1She isn't a great actress and she prob does need to go away for awhile...
I still have not seen Beyonce in concert but I would love to, I bet she gives a great show.

11I think she's overexposed and I like her best as a singer, but I wish she's stay off my tv for awhile, and her acting just sucks period if you don't believe me see the fighting temptations

13She is a total professional when it comes to the music industry...she has a great voice and knows how to retain her glamour and avoid the paparazzi. Her performances are always top notch.

34I lost respect for her when she started going out w/ Jay. The message in his albums towards women is bigoted and downright hateful (the violent brutalization of prostitutes he owns as slaves, for one), esp. his landmark albums, and he seems totally apathetic towards her.
35She went from a sassy, fiery woman in scantily clad clothes to just another damn fool writhing, simulating sex acts in videos (Christian girl that she is). Enough.
I prefer her on a treadmill to tell you the truth..

39Singer. I don't think she's overrated. Her father encouraged her to follow her dream from an early age. She was always practicing her singing and dancing with Kelly and the others. She reminds me of the Jackson's in that sense, they worked so hard from an early age too.
Beyonce has worked hard to be where she is today. She is a great performer. She puts her heart and soul into her performances. I saw her in concert here in Dublin 4 years ago. She put on a great show.
And in November 2006 I went to the World Music Awards held in London. She performed Deja Vu and Irreplacable and put on a great performance.
