This girl needs to get over herself. She's always running her mouth like she's this hot A-lister when all she's known for is one TV show on network television. Then again - I will enjoy it when it comes back to bite her in the ass

I like her, shes a little annoying and whiny sometimes, but who isnt? BUT what is she wearing here?!! Seriously, is that one of her 400 pound grandpas old sweater vest things...im so confused by this outfit.

Any...they cant very well get rid of the character that the show is named after. I was hoping that she would go too, but that would just be dumb on their part. What would they call the show then....oo they should just turn it into "McSteamys Anatomy" yeah I would pay to see that!!

Im not feelin that outfit at all but its all good cuz i love her! as for the spin off she shouldn't be that disapointed, looks like her movie Knocked Up is going to be a big hit so she should just enjoy that success and keep quiet about not getting her own show.

I think people take her comments the wrong way most of the time. I dont think that her saying that a spin off would be fun is a bad thing...just honest. I mean, is Kate supposed to say that SHE didn't like the idea of a spin off? Or is it ok for her to like the idea, since it ended up being offered to her?

I agree Jillness. If she would have said "no, i dont want my own show" everyone would have known she was full of it. She was just being honest, anyone would have wanted that spin-off!

I don't know what to say about Katherine...she has a big mouth, and really needs to keep it shut sometimes. I think she needs to realize before Grey's not many people knew who she was and she needs to be a bit more humble because I would kill to be working on a show like Grey's Anatomy.

I wonder if people are confusing their feelings for the show with the actor? I have never watched Greys, and I don't remember Katherine doing or saying anything that was really offensive. Maybe I missed something, I don't get all the hate. Hmmm....Anyone want to update me?

One reason that Ms. Heigl particularly irked me was how she immediately leaped into the fray after the whole Isiah Washington incident. All the other cast members, besides TR Knight and Washington, who were directly involved, kept their mouths shut. There was also the whole salary/contract thing and I don't see how her comment, "I wanna go. I wanna do a spinoff, something new" can be construed as anything more than whiny or childish. To me, she and Ellen Pompeo seem to be the most snobbish of the bunch, simply because they cannot accept the fact that both Kate Walsh and her character have more substance and more spirit that a spinoff requires. Honestly, where does she think the whole Izzie with a giant check story will go?

She is such a freaking whiner. Ive hated her character ever since I started reading articles about her. SHUT UP ALREADY or learn what you are NOT supposed to say in interviews.

Katherine, get a life! If anybody on this show could gripe about the spin-off it would be Sandra Oh, she's an OSCAR NOMINEE. If it wasn't for this show, nobody would know you, it's been how long since that movie with the french guy? She's a whiner, and so is T.R. Knight, get rid of both of them. They're all a bunch of prima donnas, the show is already losing stem. This show will not run as long as ER.

I don't care for her as a person, but I don't mind Ellen Pompeo, I've read some of her interviews and she doesn't come off half as bad as Katherine Heigl does.

For at least this day, someone was actually dressed worse than Britney. As for the spinoff dream, I wouldn't watch a show about a character that I can't stand. Izzie is bad enough in a group, let alone as the focus of an entire show. Ugh.

She bugged me when she shot her mouth off about "not being OK" with the T.R. Knight/Isaiah Washington debacle. It was T.R. that got hurt in the whole thing and I think he did a respectable job of speaking for himself and didn't need Katherine to do it for him.

I really like Kate and am glad she got her own show, although I will miss her character on Grey's.

I don't really care what anyone thinks. Katherine Heigl is a great actress, I think that she should have gotten the spinoff too. If you had heard the entire interview you would have noticed that she did say, that even though she didn't get the spinoff that she was very happy for Kate, and that she was going to miss her very much. As far as I can tell from this interview Kate and Katherine are very good friends, and Katherine is very supportive and happy for her.

I don't think she comes off as full ofherself in this interview. The interviewer suggested it should have been her who got the spinoff and Katherine responded to that.

I don't know what to make of Katherine Heigl. Sometimes she's cool and other times she's irksome. I don't agree with that comment someone made about T.R., though. He seems like an awesome guy.

I think you misunderstood - I like T.R. I just think Katherine speaking for him was a bit like junior high school where friends take sides. He can speak for himself, and I think he made it clear he wasn't happy with what Washington said to him.

That's all I meant. Nothing against T.R. at all. Actually, how can I have anything against people I don't know. You just form opinions by what you read.

I've gone from loving to hating this show because the cast is such a group of jerks! Yes, Patrick is still hot and he stays out of the drama, but seriously! What a bunch of spoiled brats!

I think she's a beautiful girl and most of the time she looks great. Ok no idea what's going on with the outfit. I'm an avid grey's watcher. her charcter is all kinds of screwed up. I dont' think she's a GREAT actress. she's good. I used to watch her on Roswell. but she's not phenominal. Sandra Oh is a lot better. Grey isn't fantastic either. but she's good. And who doesn't love McDreamy? As an actor George is pretty good. Isiah is great!

But all that nonesense with her salary. She just knew that she would look bad when it came out and she was trying to hide that fact. um... she doesn't deserve a spin off. that whole group of interns are supposed to stay together. it would have a different dynamic otherwise. I dont' know what will happen next season. but she was a bit of a diva with I want a spin off. Um.. WHO DOESN"T. there are other choice phrases she could have said. The industry is about persona as well. Sometimes she doesn't think oh well. everyone dissects what celebrities say all the time. She should know that by now or at least learn that.

I am apparently the only person who doesn't watch Grey's (even my guy friends watch it, and discuss it), but every interview I have read with Katherine Heigl makes her sound like such a jerk. I am totally excited about "Knocked Up" though, I think it's going to be really good!!!!

As a person who has had gay friends come under attack...I DO agree with how she handled herself in that situation with Isaha. Not only does the tolerance of hate speech tell others that it is acceptable, it also encourages violence to follow. I actually respect her for possibly alienating some of her fans by sticking up for a friend whose lifestyle many people in this country still rage about.

Many homosexuals are still viciously attacked PHYSICALLY in our country everyday, and I think that the whole situation was obviously not as offensive to America in general as the Don Imus situation. Maybe it should have been.

I'm over her. She annoys me and I can't stand Izzie on the show anymore. She makes me cringe. And she sounds a little ungrateful about not getting the spin-off...she should just be happy to be on such a popular show.

AND AND AND! katherine heigl did not come out of nowhere. she was on Roswell for...5 years? a lot of people watched that show. it was a different demographic than the people that watch greys, so dont assume that because you never knew who she was that she wasn't doing anything.
