Nicole Kidman had a busy weekend including yoga class and shopping at Whole Foods before she stepped out with Sunday Rose in her arms. She and Keith weren't at the Golden Globes last night, and the way she has been talking about Australia, it's no wonder she's skipping award show red carpets. Nicole admitted in a recent interview that she wasn't proud of her work in the film after seeing it for herself and left the country right after the premiere to avoid reading any of the press. On the bright side, cuddling up with Sunday is the perfect alternative to mixing and mingling with celebs.
More of Nicole and Sunday if you just read more.
Pop u should totally put people's ages next to their name.
Cute baby.
1it's interesting to me that she had those thing to say about her performance after the movie didn't perform well. all through out the press tour she was going on and on about how AMAZING the movie was and how she loved Baz and all that
2Is this article reliable?
3she sounds really insecure in that interview
4I loved that movie. She's crazy!
5I can't believe she would say that about her movie so soon after it came out. Not every movie is good in retrospect, but it's not even out on DVD yet. I think it is still in theaters in my city, actually. You think she'd keep her mouth shut for a while! I certainly wouldn't want to go see a movie that the lead actress doesn't even like.
6The quotes are taken totally out of context, she said that she doesn't watch her own films and only did so with this one because she loves Baz so much.
This is very common amongst actors so she is not alone.
She left Australia that night because she had left her baby back in Nashville.
A classic case of never letting truth get in the way of a good story.
7Holy Camel Toe, Batman!
8From what I've read, Nicole Kidman actually said that she's unable to *judge* her performance; that she never watches her films, and attended this premiere viewing only because Lurhman asked her to. She seems to have meant to say that she avoids seeing herself on film - which, though it signals immense narcissism (what about the excitement of participating in the filmic process, and of seeing how your performance gets woven into the whole?), doesn't actually suggest that she is embarrassed by the film. It strikes me that her comments have been taken out of context, and I think it's odd that no one has attended to this.
9Aww Sunday. She looks like a cutie.
10Looking great!
