Kate Winslet got a kiss from her husband and director Sam Mendes as she celebrated her Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards at the Golden Globes. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin goofed around with their 30 Rock costars though it was Tracy Morgan who stole the show with his acceptance speech. The Mad Men cast all stood together and many other stars that won, as well as presenters, posed and looked gorgeous in the happy press room.
The night's biggest winner was Slumdog Millionaire, which the cast, producer, director and writers humbly accepted. Lots of other celebrities took home the gold — check out the full list of winners here. Steven Spielberg was honored with the impressive Cecile B. DeMille award, where he talked about the value of having a mentor in the industry. Anyone who has Spielberg as a mentor is one lucky aspiring director and last night he joined the elite ranks of previous winners.

Yay Colin!!!
1So glad to see Anna Paquin win, Slumdog Millionaire and Mad Men even though they beat out Dexter. But season 2 of Mad Men was definitely better than season 3 of Dexter imo.
2Oh and Kate, how could I forget Kate? Congrats!
I'm so glad Kate was a double winner. She's my fave. And Mickey thanking his dogs was a highlight too!
3I'm so glad for Kate and can't wait to see The Reader and Revolutionary Road. She's one of my FAVE actresses.
4I was sooooo happy Colin Farrell won!!!!!! I was sooo shocked but I am so happy for him. Adore him.
I knew Kate would win eventually. I am overall happy about last night...I didn't like Kate's second acceptance speech. Overall good night.
5lmao, Kate was rambling but I love her and I loved her f*** up Morticia's name lmao hahahahahha
6So glad for Slumdog Millionaire...it was a great movie and I am sooo glad it's getting the attention it deserves!! Most of you might not know who Shah Rukh Khan is but I adore him too!!
He is the Bollywood star who came up with Freida Pinto before the clip about Slumdog
aired..which wasn't a great clip to describe the movie on my opinion..but its all good..so glad for Danny Boyle and that whole gang!!
7PS Jaan..I found it hilarious too that Kate forgot Angelina's name...HAHAHAHA..she must have been ticked
8"God, and who's the other one?"
9I doubt Angelina cared, if you know Angelina this kinda stuff doesn't bother her but jeez if Kate was gonna name all the women in her category did she have to say "who is the other one?"...goodness if you don't know the names don't name any of them. It irritated me...more so because it was gonna be one of those things, its gonna be made in to a big deal. Angelina isn't a diva, she doesn't have this cold streak but the media loves making her look like she does. So now we gotta hear BS about how Angelina is mad at Kate or Kate disses Angelina. Its annoying. Angelina could care less
Angelina looked like she was having a good time. She and Brad loved being there but now the media and Kate Winslet and her clumsy speech gotta blow everything.
10It was definitely Kate's night!
11Glad Slumdog won for best picture
I couldn't stop laughing at Mickey-he almost tripped walking onstage and he thanked his dogs, plus he was doing a weird thing with his head up there haha. I kind of wish Leo won so him and Kate could have an award together!
Kate Winslet is my new favorite person! The moment she forgot Angelina was P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S...
12Alot of the wins were predictable, but im so happy for Kate Winslet, haha, thought it was hysterical how she forgot Angelinas name, that doesnt happen very often;)Her 2nd sppech was pretty awkward tho. Megan Fox is HOT! Her interview was kinda lame, but im sure she was nervous or pissed off at her boyfriend. Colin Farrell, wow, he hasnt looked that good in years, it was shocking but nice. Loved his little joke about the sniffles. JLo should not have worn that dress, it was pretty but her rolls were hanging out the side, gross. Im so happy Mickey Rouke won, the Wrestler was a way good movie, and im so happy that hes proven that he isnt just some hack. His speech was nice, i didnt realize that he was that far down but im glad he got another hit movie on his hands.
13Kate's gratitude in her speeches was adorable; I don't think I've ever seen someone so happy to win an award in my entire life. And just because someone mentioned it, when Kate forgot Angelina's name, they showed her in the audience, and she looked like she and Brad were laughing and smiling at it! She's won an Oscar before; I'm sure she understood how nervous Kate was.
14Love love love 30 Rock & Co.
15Yay for Kate!!!
16Love Angelina, because we know you're not biased right? So funny that only the Angelina fanatics would be mad at that. Everyone else thought it was hilarious. The world doesn't revolve around Angelina Jolie. She's not even an important actress. Meryl Streep is an important actress to Kate and she knows Anne and Kristin Scott Thomas, so why not forget Angelina's name in a moment of shock. Kate Winslet can act circles around her and years from now people look at quality work and perofrmances and films not tabloids, so Winslet's legacy will be far greater than Angelinas. People will soon be sick of th Brangelina circus. Kate Winslet is Queen.
17I still can't believe that's Anwar from Skins, in a Golden Globe winning film!
18i love to see how excited the celebs are when they are in the press room and they are talking about the win again. it's still so surreal for so many of them, and it's so genuine to hear their words.
19I knew COLIN FARRELL will win for his perfermance in * in bruges* the best movie of the year, the only movies which deserved to win the oscar were in bruges , Slumdog Millionaire and the dark night and i'm so glad these three won the oscar and THANKS POP for the gorgeous and hot and sexy picture of colin farrell holding that beautiful oscar he's my favorite actor in the whole world.
20and the best speech of the night was given by the one and only gorgeous colin farrell.
21Laura Linney looked fantastic and deserves every award, and I'm so happy for Sally Hawkins, I loved her in Happy-go-lucky. Kate Winslet looked so happy and thankful, good for her!
22Anna Paquin: best actress, TV Drama? What a joke!
23I hate True Blood. And I think she is the worst thing of it.
great kate!
