I'm going to take this opportunity to again mention how much I hate the new layout. Did I really need a thumbnail on the main page of all 120 images? No, definitely not.

the highlights of the night were ricky gervais and sacha baron cohen. i know some people are up in arms over cohen's remarks but i think they were hilarious. oh, and glad kate won instead of the other one...

ok, first off - Jennifer Lopez aka "mama" pls stfu....second, Kate calling Morticia "the other one" was priceless hahahah....and pls the PDA during an award show is lame unless you are giving those "I just heard my name called as the winner" kisses to everyone in your vacinity as they all do...Brad and his master should've stayed home with the tribe - they knew they weren't gonna win

Good Night. I really love this award show. That kiss is soo sweet. LOL. Oh I hated Kate's second speech...hated it. I am very happy she won but come on Kate...if your gonna name the women in your category...know who they are. That annoyed me soooo bad. I am soooo happy for Colin...love him. All in all a good night. I am happy about the winners and I would have been happier if Angelina won but thats ok. I know this isn't her year...I would just be happy if she got a nom from the Academy Awards but I think they are going to snub her again. I think Brad will get one but we have to wait and see.

I agree with the layout thing - it was better before. This isn't terrible, but it isn't very convenient.

As for the awards, I had to laugh out loud when Kate Winslet made that "The Other One" comment. Too, too funny. Angie's face was priceless - - trying hard to keep a tight smile on, but looking like she wanted to bludgeon Winslet with that award. Also, did anybody else notice that Cameron Diaz kind of misprounced The Other One's name? Oh lord, she must have been pissed.

Kate looked fabulous and man oh man does she love Leo.

And I thought the Guy Ritchie comment was kind of funny, but a little bit mean. One of those things you can't help but laugh at but feel a little guilty for afterwards.

Luved kates speech lol'd at the other one comment and cam diaz looked like a clown, jlo like a hooker, and Tracey Morgan and Mickey Rourke gave the best speeches.

Im really happy for Wall-E,Spielberg,Rourke,Slumdog and Colin Ferrell. Not too impress by the dresses except by Cruz,Bullock and Laura linney. Maggie Gyllenhaal looks awful and her dress is awful too.

I personally thought Sacha Baron Cohen was hilarious. Its just a joke people, lighten up a little! Oh and Tracy Morgan rocks.

I know a lot was made of Kate Winslet almost forgetting Angelina--but did she say Anne Hathaway's name? If so, I can't remember hearing it.

And my curiosity was up during that particular award because of the supposed "glitch" at the official Golden Globes site where many thought they accidently (and prematurely) indicated Anne Hathaway was the winner.

I was very happy for Kate Winslet because she's always been a favorite of mine but thought there might've been some follow up in the media on that.

I was very excited for Kate Winslet, Colin Farrell and the 30 Rock team. Well deserved awards. Thought Kate's "other one" comment was hilarious and although I'm sure all the Brangelina fans didn't think so and will be quite vocal about it. And did we really need all their pda? Had to somehow draw attention to themselves after not getting an award?

I don't know if I even would have noticed about Farrell, except that the first time he went up he was already sniffly and made some lame joke about it being a cold and not "the other thing" or whatever he said. Then he came up again, and all I could think was, Colds don't make you babble weirdly, twitch a lot, and get all strange along with having a runny nose. But something else does...

Notmeanymore, I never said Kate's action were deliberate. I had been any other actress I wouldn't have cared and thought the same way you do. However because of what Kate did it gives juice to tabloids and haters. It annoys me. So I am annoyed with the situation. I know Kate is sweetheart and an amazing talent. I adore her but I wish she hadn't done that.

Let me begin by saying I'm very happy Kate won, and I believe she deserved to win. She's one of my favorite actors ever and she simply gets better and better in my opinion.

Now, my next something something is...........why are some of you deliberately turning what she said into being about Angelina Jolie when it is glaringly obvious, and audibly impossible not to misconstrue that the "other one" comment was regarding Anne Hathaway? Shannolyn, Anne's name was the very first she mentioned, a lot of people seem to have missed it though.
I thought the 'Oh God, who's the other one?' comment was adorable. You could tell that she really was so surprised that she momentarily couldn't remember the name, it wasn't intentional or anything. I really don't think Angelina minded all that much either, she seemed to find it funny, too.

Kate Winslet is so charming and likable that she could get away with forgetting Angelina Jolie's name without the media making some catty thing out of it. Although some of the Angelina fanatics are idiots if they think it was done intentionally. She was overcome with emotion and it was hilarious. She did remember Anne's name. But see Meryl is her idol, she knows Anne and Kristin Scott Thomas, the world doesn't revolve around Angelina Jolie folks. It was funny and Angelina seemed to think it was funny too actually. Love Kate Winslet and this awards rocked because everyone I liked won.

just saying hate this ridiculous layout and i mean the worse part is that it doesnt show if your platinum or gold etc...i had fun trying to earn those points and move up the stages...now it all seemes irrelevant

i missed the first few minutes of the show so i missed kate's first win and jennifer, but the pictures really show that jen looked GREAT. i'm thrilled with the outcome of these, and i guess we'll see if the emmy's and oscars stay true to form with these, or if something new comes of the wins.

I agree that Kate Winslet's use of the term "the other one" was only meant to be funny and, since it was a result of her flustered, happy emotions, rather endearing too. She was at least making the effort to recognize them all! Hee. I also agree Angelina seemed amused, not at all ticked off.

I love Kate Winslet and I'm glad she received the awards. As for her forgetting Anjelina Jolie, it was simply due to emotions and she doesn't have a piece of paper in her name to memorize everything.

I only think this honest ''incident'' if I can call that one, will twisted into a malignant way by those who dislike the Anjelina Jolie.

Apparently the hatred for Jolie overshadows the acclaim of the very talented Kate Winslet.

There's really no one who won I didn't think deserved to win even if I would have liked others. I really REALLY was rooting for Viola Davis. She's just awesome. I'm so happy for Mickey Rourke, and I really think he was immensely humbled by it. I even got a tad teary when he talked about his dogs. I love Paul Giamatti and Gabriel Byrne AND Colin Farrell so it was like triple happy time.

OT....Sorry but this new format is not as user friendly as the last one. There just seems to be SO much going on and I'm all turned around. I appreciate the work that's been put into it and I'm sure it will get easier in time, but right now it sucks.

Ryan Seacrest was a complete jerk to Angelina after she and Brad gave him interview at the globes in 2006. So I don't blame them for not wanting to talk him. He was going on and on about Angelina not smiling and being cheery on his radio show. One, she was supporting Brad and it was his night. She did smile. Second, her mother was ill and she dies a few days after that. So I can't blame Brad and Angelina one bit for ignoring him but honestly I don't think they ignored him. At least thats what Ryan says on his show.

I'm just posting to say how much I hate this layout. It's hurting my eyes and it's just confusing.

I made it my NY resolution to stay away any post related to Brad, Angelina, and Jennifer...too much hate from people on all sides.

Much Ado About Nothing.. Kate was just shocked and nervous and forgot Jolie's name. It wasn't a slight. How many people have gone up there and forgot to thank the director or their significant other.. let alone a fellow nominee. Kate was cute and sweet.

And they barely showed Jolie last night at all. and the only PDA that was shown was a quick kiss during a commercial break... and seriously put me in a room squeezed full of too many people for a couple hours with free flowing alcohol and I would spend the time groping and making out with Brad Pitt too.. if he would let me.

And the more I think about the so called stink eye seen round the world.. the more I an doubting that was it at all. the look Jolie gave Anne was after she made it up there was given the award and about a minute or two into her nervous acceptance rant when she said this was a great year for all female performances and people clapped.. then queue shot of Jolie.. Jolie hired Anne to be a part of her A Moment in Time documentary and even sent Anne to her fav.. Cambodia to do her segment of the documentary.. they have a good working relationship and I doubt there are hard feelings between the two..bittersweet face vs bitter face.. thats my take on it anywhoo..

Oh.. and two best moments re the Jolie Pitts.. Seacrest chasing them around like the pathetic hack that he is.. and when they were interviewing Zac and Vanessa and suddenly the crowd went nuts.. Vanessa said they were too loud to hear the question and the interviewer said we are really close to the fans and they are going crazy for you two.. and in the background you see Brad and Angie walk by..

Yeah Zac and Vanessa.. those crazy screams were all for you babe!!

how about that crazy bollywood invasion with shah rukh khan and anil kapoor. i know this is america so most people won't really know but...that's some massive star power from that country. awesome night though!

Something tells me that when one wins an award that was so long overdue, as Kate's win was, their mind is spinning & they are on cloud number 9, whilst suddenly jolted to a quick reality, aware that not only are they standing in front of their peers on a stage, but that millions are watching them live, waiting for the words to flow....

Forgetting Angelina - so not a big deal. I love the emotional speeches like Kate's over the robotic ones of so many others over the years...
