TR Knight got rid of the red hair by the time he cohosted the 52nd annual OBIE awards which honors achievements in the off-Broadway stage. That was fast although apparently he wants to keep playing with his hairstyles. Unfortunately, he can't until he knows if he will be returning to Grey's next season. Looks like we aren't the only ones left wondering after last week's season finale. TR told Access Hollywood, "If you're supposed to report back to work in a month and a half, I would really like to know that because I would like to know if I can shave my head." Hopefully he'll be getting a phone call very soon so he can concentrate on what to do with his hair next.

I like him and I like his character but if he didn't return I wouldn't be too sad. he whines to much and whiny boys are annoying
1I didn't know the actors were left wondering too! That must suck. So much for job security!
2HA HA HA! They can't leave the show if they choose. but the show can drop them? That's not right either.
3so if he shaves his head soon, we know hes not returning ;-(
4I have to say, if he gets the axe and Isaiah Washington stays, I won't be watching the show anymore. TR Knight shouldn't be punished for someone else's homophobia.
That being said, I also think they turned George into a whiner. I loved him when he was sticking his finger into some guy's heart. They're really misusing his quirky charm!
5He better be coming back!
6Someone needs to strongly discourage him from shaving his head. I really don't think he (or myself) will be happy with his resulting appearance.
As a side note, I don't claim to know much about him as an actual person so it's probably just George's personality that I am assuming is TR's own, but it seems so random and odd for him to want to shave his head and dye his hair bright red or blue. It sounds presumptuous, but the first thing that comes to my mind is that it seems like he's acting out or trying to be a rebel (not that I think all people with these intentions are acting out or what-have-you). Its just that he's always come off as a sweet, wholesome, boy-next-door kind of guy to me so all this seems out of character, but then again, thats probably George influencing my thoughts.
If a story comes out that he has a penchant for coke and hookers or that he participates in massive orgies, I will first be downright astounded, and second I will strongly doubt my ability to read people.
7He's a whiny insecure punk. He can't say anything without his mouthpiece Heigl. If they both don't return, I'll be sooo happy.
8he better come back!!!!! I dont know how i feel about shonda rhimes anymore. how can they kick george off!!! and lexie TR says plenty without having katherine by his side....she just supports him and sides with him.....do you see anyone on isiahas side? Exactly.
9Of course he's returning!
10Kate Walch is the one who left...
OoOoOoO my guy was there!! Oh Liev.. PPPUUURRRR!!
11There will be trouble for the show if, they fire TR and keep Isaiah.
12I forgot to comment on the show! Lord, I'm scatterbrained this morning. If he left, that would leave the following storylines completely dead and unfinished:
1. Izzy professing her love to George. If they end that by saying, "Oh, he left", and just show her devastated by the loss of George, I'll be quite peeved. First Alex cheated on her, then Denny died, and now George is disappearing? Very repetitive. I don't think she should be with George, but they MUST show a discussion between them that 100% ends any communication or friendship. Otherwise, it won't make sense since they are best friends and he's just moving to a diff hospital in the same city. I would think they'd still see each other, and Izzy's feelings would continue.
2. The obvious tension between Callie and Izzy. It would be silly for them to fight over a guy who isn't there.
3. Callie, in general. She may be done for if George leaves. The only way her character was defined was by her relationship with George, and everything she did was tied to him. They started to develop Callie with her friendship with Addison, but now she's leaving, and she has awkward relations with everyone else. However, she did get the position of Chief of Residents, so they could keep her relevant by involving her with this new group of kids coming in, but if they decided they were done with her, they could easily phase her out and give that position to Miranda. The whole pregnancy idea would also be dead since again, it would be weird without George around.
Addison is gone, Burke may be gone, Richard could be gone...if George leaves too, they are destroying all of the storylines that got us hooked on Grey's in the first place. Not only that, but they're bringing in this whole new group of people with their own histories. I can't help but think that will change all the original stories and change the show completely. It reminds me of Saved By The Bell when they did The College Years and some of the original crew stayed on, but they had to bring in new characters to replace those who left. Basically, if you haven't seen it, The College Years sucked. The viewers couldn't get into the new cast because it wasn't the show they fell in love with before.
Wow. That was far FAR too long, but there you have it. In conclusion, DO NOT LET GEORGE LEAVE!
13i really hope he's coming back to the show. kate walsh, possibly isiah washington, and possibly tr knight? that's just too many characters leaving
14Don't care.
15Did anyone else feel kinda depressed and icky when they showed the new interns coming in?? It just felt WRONG!!
oh, and pleasepleaseplease keep George on the show! And Burke! Obviously, I hate change
16They really need to watch their step. too many people are ready to jump on the band wagon.
17I felt the same way, Jessamae! I want things to stay the same.
Someone mentioned Richard being the second person leaving. I didn't think about that, and that's something I would be okay with. However, he didn't end up finding a replacement, did he? They'd have to resolve that first.
18whatever...
19I like him as an actor but I absolutely hate his character - so whiny and indecisive. Oh, boohoo, I have two beautiful women loving me and I just can't grow a pair and choose? Or better yet, go with the sweet and more mentally balanced Callie and ditch the psychotic Izzie, who, a few months ago, was still mourning Denny and then suddenly fell in love with George? God, Grey's gets me so mad.
20Mrs. Lachey, there are plenty of people behind Isaiah they just know how to keep their big mouths shut, unlike KH who goes on and on and like she was the one insulted. If T.R doesn't come back, I won't miss him. George is such a loser.
21he'll be back for sure.
22Nixon knows how to get older dignified.
23Yay TR!
24Miranda!
