Valentina Keeps a Close Eye on Salma
Salma Hayek and her daughter Valentina touched down at LAX yesterday afternoon. The girls have been racking up the frequent flier miles lately with their many cross country trips so that Salma can attend awards shows and promote 30 Rock. They both seemed to be in good spirits on the way back to their car, where Salma stood outside for a cigarette and played a hide-and-seek game with Valentina. We're still a bit surprised to see Salma smoking but maybe a smile like that from her daughter will be just the motivation to quit.

Very sad, Salma, you could have spent those precious minutes you wasted smoking with your child. That child is not playing hide and seek, she is clearly upset and wants her mom. I guess smoking is more important to her...
1The child is not upset. They are playing hide and seek. But she should quit smoking, for her own health and her child's. And it is also none of our business whether or not she does.
2Seriously, it's none of your or our business if Salma CHOOSES to smoke. None of you complain when you see a parent with a drink in their hand, do you? Surely she has earned the right to choose what she wishes to do?
3No, her child is clearly NOT upset. It's quite obvious that they are playing. And yes, it is none of our business whether Salma smokes or not. At least she is not in the car with Valentina. She seems like a happy, healthy child.
4There is nothing like that crazy joy squeal your kid gives up. It's very cool that Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt have all said their kids were enough reason to quit, and hopefully Salma will follow suit.
