Jay-Z was up late last night to perform at his concert in Washington, DC, but he was out bright and early this morning with his furry cap on to watch President Obama being sworn in. He was joined by Beyonce, her sister Solange, and Diddy for the inauguration ceremony, all looking happy to experience each special part of the day for themselves. Also on hand to witness the event were Leo and Bar, fresh from their trip to the UK, as well as Oprah, Anne Hathaway, Adrian Grenier, and many other famous faces that were mixed into the crowd. The celebs are all probably used to receiving special treatment, but this morning they were just regular American citizens watching history take place.
To see more from the day, including Denzel Washington, Sting, and Steven Spielberg, just read more.

"they were just regular American citizens"
1riiiight, with conveniently fantastic seats, and I'll bet some where there just to be at the hippest VIP place in the world....
I heard that Leo requested tickets at the last minute (a few days ago) and that staff scrambled to acomodate that request - doubt that would have happened for a "regular american".
2I see other people are also ticked with the "The celebs are all probably used to receiving special treatment, but this morning they were just regular American citizens watching history take place" statement made by PopSugar. I know there are many regular citizens who would have loved to be there to watch a defining moment in our history, but because we don't all have the celeb job title, we missed out. It is great that Obama has all this support, but lets not forget why these people were faces in the crowd today!
3HA HA - Jay's hat is ridic
4The age difference between Leo and his gf is really striking on this picture.
5Beyonce looks gorgeous dressed down and casual.
6Hollywood and Obama = pathetic
7i agree zaferjacks
8this is just getting ridiculous now
and to pop
regular american citizens?
are you that dense!?
I don't understand the fuss. In the past there has always been celebrities at presidential elections. I think the media focused on it big this time around because in the past 12 years we have become celebrity obsessed. Most of them have campaigned , donated $$$, performed etc for Obama . Keep in mind a lot of celebrities are democrats .
9Regular American citizens? Are you kidding me?
10I wonna slap them all. The world's economy is down but this is the most expensive inauguration in U.S. history and protecting Obama is friggin expensive but the lefty whiners dont whine about that. No matter the wrong things he will do the media will report otherwise because Obama is a media darling
11Better him than a continuation of the past 8 years of destruction and war.
12But bless Bush for 8 years of no Sept.11 repeat.
Kennedy had Marilyn Monroe while Clinton had Streisand among his many lovers. Why do I get the feeling Obama will be the downfall of Oprah the Great.
13"Better him than a continuation of the past 8 years of destruction and war"
Obama hasnt done anything yet to warrant his "greatness", all it has been is speeches and fluff. We shall see how he will do in his term then you can make this statement.
And celebs are not regular citizens by a long shot...
14Don't they special treatment, not as celebs, but as large donors and campaigners?
15Ummm, I was a regular American citizen yesterday and froze my butt off on the mall and spent three hours trying to get home (which was only 5 miles away!). Please, they are not, and will never be, regular citizens.
16i guess that it's always nice to see that everyone can appreciate the same things as we 'normal folks' do
17Once again stars are making it about them instead of a the new president. im so sick that these parasites were there all performing when half of our veterans couldnt even get into these parties. They are the real heros and instead beyonce and demi moore were there. what a horrific joke...
18beyonce is nuts. it was FREEZING at the inauguration. Jay-Z had the right idea.
