I missed the whole thing...I heard it was boring, though...

I was anxiously awaiting for someone to make out with Madonna during one of their performances last night, but sadly I guess that all dreams cannot come true. Was anyone else bored out of their mind and just waiting and waiting and well waiting all throughout the show for something exciting to happen?

I never watched the show and the by the sounds of it that was a good thing, however the above video of Christina Aguilera is amazing. That girl has some serious pipes.

OK Go was the best part of the show!

The VMAs keep getting worse every year. The best part was when Busta Rhymes performed Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See and Missy performed The Rain... it was funny when she got stuck in the little car and Timbaland had to roll her away lol. Christina was also really good.

Shaki was just amazing.

Ok Go had to have practiced that so many times so they didn't fall! I missed Jt lastnight, so I liked Shakira. Beyonce's new song is growing on me, I found myself singing it to myself the other day when I was mad.

I got goosebumps when Christina sang too, Pinkangelmonkey!! She has a strong voice.

Ok Go's album is now #8 on the most selling list, thanks to the VMA's.

album? So they sing talboid princess? i guess so! lol I assumed they just danced... That song they danced to was theirs? That would've been so hard to do live. I bet they were nervous as hell! lol They pulled it off though, and really outshone most of the other more famous ones.

You should check out OK Go's other video on YouTube. It's not as complicated as the treadmill, but it's equally awesome. And I love both songs as much as the videos.

The strangest part of the VMA's from what I saw was that random dude coming onstage with the Panic guys. How MTV never gave him his own TV show, etc. But before he even had his five minutes of fame (not good enough for a mere fifteen) security took him away.

Christina is awesome. I just watched her performance, don't really care about the rest of them. I love the 40's era thing she has going. Someone has to start the trend of making "real" music again. She is absolutely gorgeous these days. I love her new album.

I'm with you, BB21--Shaki is adorable and can move (though her backup dancers were more interesting) but her voice. . .it's just awful!!! The weird thing is, when she sings in Spanish, she sounds good. I don't understand it but I saw her once on SNL and her Spanish language song sounded great!?! Whatev.

The best vocal last night was definitely Christina! The girl can flat out sing!

The highlight for me is OK Go, since they are possibly one of my favorite bands of all time. =D Christina Aguilera's preformance was also amazing. But most of the VMAs were boring rap/poser punk (i. e. P!ATD, FOB, All-American Rejects). But I did think that putting Al Gore on there was a smart decision for MTV. =)
Overall, the VMAs were just boring. There were only a couple of preformances I actually liked.

i hate to say this..but i feel like they just don't care to put on cool shows anymore. Justin could've done something so over the top..but he did that mediocre performance! boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! i fell asleep as well! Britney needs to make a serious comeback..that girl used to put on some awesome shows during the VMAs..I used to always count on her to wow the crowd with something amazing!
