Jennifer Aniston got to be a hero in LA on Sunday when she was out driving and spotted a dog wandering around alone. After catching up with the runaway, she kept an eye on the pooch until its grateful owner showed up. While Jennifer had a scare when her own pup Norman escaped from the house last week, this time it was her turn to help out a fellow animal lover. The actress is rumored to be among the presenters at the Oscars so it sounds like she may have to take a break from her gig as local dogcatcher to get glamorous for the big night.
A presenter at the Oscars!!!!!!! Really!?!?!? Well that would be interesting. I kinda hope not because that would spoil the Oscars for me because the media would do the whole blah blah triangle blah blah blah stuff. I just wanna enjoy the festivities.
Really sweet of her to help that dog. Love her ensemble here.
1That was nice of her and she looks really cute.
2That's so sweet of her! I can't imagine how scary it would be to find out your pet is missing...
3I don't think she's gonna present an award, even though I would love to see her rocking red carpet! I really like her style.
4I love that she can look fabulous in no more than jeans and a L/S tee...
5love her!
6That's so sweet of her
I probably wouldn't notice if it was a lost dog or another
stray dog.
7That's really nice of her
8Does anyone know who makes her boots? Love them.
9Off topic - but does anyone know what boots Jen is wearing in the lost dog photos?? I really like them. Thanks for the help in advanced.
10she is such a great person...I luv her!!!
11That was nice and she does look good. The boots look like Uggs.
12Sha has one of the most masculine faces i have ever seen in a woman. From the thick mannish neck to the strong widely squarred chin to the thin shapeless lips to the harsh masculine stare when she is serious.
She is only decent looking when she is smiling.
13The owner must have had the surprise of her life seeing Jennifer with her lost dog.
Nice of her to stick around until the owner showed up...
14I agree, soulkey.
It was nice of her to help the dog, though. But I still can't imagine why she'd be allowed to present at the Oscars.
15Thats one gorgeous dog!!Im no massive fan of jens look but she looks good here. Is it because she is caught up in everyday life you realise she is looking good. boring but good. Great legs!!
16that dog's HUGE! i love dogs and that's one that could cuddle with. AWWW.
17That is really nice of her, it doesn't happen very often to stop your car to save a lost dog.
18Aw. She's cute.
19I like her jeans.
20She looks great. I am not a big fan of dogs. Been bitten a couple of times. When I see one running along the road I call animal control with the location. I will stick with my very large Maine Coon cat who is strong enough to escape my husband. LOL. Putty in my arms. She did a good deed. My sis had a Maltese who was rescued from an LA highway.
21She looks great and what a nice story.
22That was a nice thing to do. *Raises glass*
BTW, those boots are HOT.
23That's my friend Margaret!
24Okay, I haven't been a member as long as some of you. Does it strike anyone that this site tries to play Brad/Angelina against Jennifer Aniston? Over the past few weeks I've noticed that every time there's a positive Brad/Angelina post there's an off-color one about Jen. This one isn't so bad, but some have been downright mean! Is it just me?
And no, I'm not a particular fan of any of these people in case you were wondering.
25I absolutely LOVE HUSKIES!!!!
26That was so nice of her! If one of my pups got loose, I would hope that someone would try to help either by trying to catch them and read their tags or calling animal control. At least if they are with animal control, you can get them back and they aren't going to be hit by a car.
27those boots! please tell me who makes them!
Seriously, that's a very sweet thing for her to do.
28Why would you hang out with the dog waiting for the owner to show up? What if the dog escaped from the yard while the owner was at work all day? Doesn't make a lot of sense with the info presented.
Guess I'm in the minority for not liking her fashion here. The jeans tucked into the boots and puffy short jacket are very 1980.
29Clarabelle, I think that's pretty true of the celebrity gossip world at large--I notice the same thing you pointed out (the way that Brangelina stories always accompany Aniston stories, and vice versa).
Compared to a lot of other sites, I think Pop's actually relatively nonpartisan about it, although there are some editors whose bias shows--but that's true of the media anyway
30Yes clarabelle, the site plays it up, makes up drama when none exists. If you look at the hits and comments, those are the posts that attract the most attention. It's just business.
That said, presenting (if it's even true) is probably the only way Aniston will ever get on the stage at an Oscar awards. Her film work isn't the sort that attracts these kinds of achievement awards, or nominations. She was more successful in tv comedy. I wonder why she doesn't go back to that.
31she's hot
32Nice of her that she helped the dog. I think she looks lovely, and I'm sure she will look lovely too at the Oscars, I love her fashion sense.
I like when Jennifer does small independent movies like The Good Girl or Office Space. I'm looking forward to see Management.
33As if I didn't like her enough... this is soooo cute of her!
34I wonder that too Ginger. She's a GREAT TV Comedy actress, and while some of her movies have been entertaining, they are most certainly NOT oscar worthy. Even as much as I can't STAND the other one, I have to admit (very grudgingly I might add) that I can understand why some believe her worthy of an oscar. I don't think though I could even consider the possibility that Jen's roles have been. She SHOULD go back to TV.
35Aww that dog is so cute! Seeing the appreciation in someone's face when you return their lost animal is the best..that was nice of her.
36I think this is a pr stunt. Every thing about her and Mayer is a stunt. The only reason she and her pr team want to be at the Oscar is to keep the triangle thing going. Brad let air out it by coming out and saying there was no affair. Now she has to start it up again. To bad Jen can't make on her own steam. That's why they hired John Mayer.
37I wonder if she ever thanked the paps for rescuing Norman a couple of weeks ago. Maybe her security guards didn't even tell her for fear of a tongue-lashing -- or being fired.
38Okay, I haven't been a member as long as some of you. Does it strike anyone that this site tries to play Brad/Angelina against Jennifer Aniston?
39~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Of course, I couldn’t agree more. Look at how many hits they get for these types of threads. Popsugar has always been a huge Jennifer Aniston booster site.
she's so great, that's really nice of her. I don't see why she shouldn't present at an award show, just because she isn't nominated-Katie Holmes presented an award at the SAGs when she isn't doing any films right now, it's also a celebrity event and hopefully Jen will present!
40Jakcob - That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it, but I disagree. Why must everything about Jennifer be made into a triangle issue with Brad and Angie? Why can't she be at the Oscars because the organizers want her there? How is trying to help a dog and its owner a way of keeping the "triangle thing" going? I don't see why Jen shouldn't be there. Cameron Diaz had been a presenter for quite a number of times now, yet she doesn't seem to be doing movies that are Oscar-worthy, either.
I don't think Jen's trying to start up something, she is doing a good deed. It's sad that everything the woman does gets labelled as "desperate", a "pr stunt" or pining for Brad and unable to move on. I think we are the ones unable to move on if we always see Jen in this light.
Anyway, it's good of her to help that dog and the owner.
41Angelina and Jennifer...That in itself will boost ratings. I hate to admit it but love the drama. They are both beautiful...will be intresting!
42love to see her as a presenter btw she's so beautiful, at first i thought she's a teenager, she looks awesome.
43jen doesn't need your comments that said she should go back to tv!she knows what she is doing!and she is a great star and very talented!
44so much better than that b*tch
oh!!and jen's face is NOT masculine
45Jen is amazing love her xx
46jen is sweet. i love dogs
47WOW! Thats really nice of her! Doing something so sweet & not even wanting the attention from the paparazzi like Angelina Jolie.
I hope she presents an award at the oscars, this low-profile lady needs something BIG to SPICE UP!
TEAM JENNIFER FOREVER!
48Awww.. that's so sweet of her. Don't you wish if you ever lose a pet (God forbid, no), Jen's the one who'll cross path with it? Not all people will be as kind. I hope she can be an inspiration to others to do the same.
49thats really sweet of her...
50shes very down to earth person!ireally hope she will present at the oscars..she looked great in the 2006 oscars
and i cant wait to see HJNTITY AND TRAVELLING it really sounds great!!
