The Hills had my attention for 3 seasons, but now I'm over the contrived reality shows everywhere. I wish it was the 90's again and TGIF was on!

Gosh no, I lost interest by the third episode. So boring!

I said maybe, because i'm not really a hills or a city fan, but i can't stop watching every episode. I must be a closet city fan, whose not really to admit it yet (so maybe...).

some of the people on the city kind of annoy me. i like the hills but the city really isn't doing it for me i'm going to wait out the rest of the season and make a decision from there. but really i'm not sure that whitney had a big enough part on the hills to really be able to support her own show which is kind of too bad.

I still love Whitney, so I'll be watching, but man, can't the poor girl even get a major plotline on her own show?

I love her life. She is headed in the right direction with her career and I kind of envy the job and lifestyle she has. I want to live in NYC so bad and work for DVF it would be such an honor.

AdriNicTrax, Even in the vaguest sense, this doesn't pass as a reality show. Its nice to have a dream but I hope you realize the only reason Whitney's life looks so glamourous is because MTV is footing the bill. Digs like hers in NYC don't come cheap and you'd have to have a six-figure salary to afford to live there. Or a trust fund like Olivia Palermo. The reality is that "glamour" jobs such as those in the fashion industry are notorious for paying poorly, and you'd make more as a bartender or a secretary.

This show s u c k s. I'm an avid Hills fan, loved the show, and watched every episode, but think The City is a terrible show. There's no story line, except girly drama. They are all too old to be getting caught up in emotional bs. I thought the whole premise of Whitney getting the job in NY was to show off how she makes it big in her career.

What a letdown.

So far the show is boring and it is because Whitney and Jay are a boring couple. I don't get what she sees in him at all. Olivia is far more interesting. I will watch the end of this season but might drop it next season.

i'm actually thrilled that they are coming back for another season, i can just hope that maybe we get to see more of the city than the few sections of town that they are hanging out in. i feel like i can only see the meatpacking and bergdorfs area SO MANY TIMES - there's so much more to the city that would really befit this crowd. if they really are the rocker types like jay is,...then why aren't they in the village more? that's what i'm looking forward to, and maybe seeing more of whitney AT work...

I think it's incredibly interesting. That whole lifestyle intrigues me.
The hills in the beginning was good, but as of late it's gotten really high-school-ish. The whole Audrina & Lo fight... So ridiculous.
I think the City is better then the hills.

The problem is Whitney is SO BORING. Well, so are the other chicks on that other show...the name of which escapes me. But these 'reality' shows are awful. Give me a good episode of CSI: Miami over this any day. At least that show KNOWS it's fiction!

I've seen it twice. I wish I could get those 2 hours back. Honestly, how did Whitney get this job? she's not really that hot, talks like she has three plunker marbles in her mouth and she's mind numbingly BORING.

I'm fine with reality TV being fake....it's just TV, but there must be people with actual talent or the ability to entertain you can give these jobs to.
