The nanny is there for HELP. Maybe they should start calling them helpers and people would stop being so critical. I was a nanny for a family who had one child a few years back and it was so
they could get out of the house every once in a while. Or run to the grocery store without lugging a bunch of baby supplies. Every once and a while they took their son but I was there for
support/help. I think in Jessica Alba's circumstance she probably has a full-time nanny b/c of the nature of her and Cash's work. The nanny probably just comes along for the ride most of the
time. I guess, as a parent, I just think women need to be more supportive of each other. Being a parent isn't always easy and everyone does that job (parenting) a little different. Most of
the time, one way isn't better than the other. She seems like a wonderful mother and I don't think having a nanny changes that!

4I don't understand why you need a nanny for 1 child. I can understand twins, or 3 and 4 but 1?
