I'll definitely be watching, 'cuz I love "The Office", but it's kind of bitter sweet, because I can't stand her. Hopefully her cameo isn't very big.

I hate The Office to begin with, so this just makes it worse.

i love the office too, but this is pretty lame. i hope she's just in it for a brief "oh-look-it's-jessica-alba" kind of cameo, haha. seriously though, one of the reasons the office is so good is because the characters are so painfully normal, familiar types (haha) and a big "celebrity episode" would just be weird. who knows though, i could be wrong.

Just to let everyone know... she's not in the Office universe. She, Jack Black, and Cloris Leachman are all part of a movie that the Office people are watching. So, there's no interaction between her and say, Michael Scott. It's a good way of having celebrity guests star without them ruining the vibe of the show.

I don't watch The Office, but I'm thinking of giving it a go because I love Steve Carell, but Jessica Alba's terrible actress and she's going to do no favours for it whatsoever.

I get that the spot after the Super Bowl should be coveted b/c you have so many people watching, but the office is scheduled to be on from 10:30 to 11:30. Getting up a 6 AM means I just do NOT stay up that late.

That being said, I will be DVRing the Office, but not for Jessica. Who I agree is not a very good actress and the Office does not need stunt casting.

IMO, I don't think the whole celebrity cameo was necessary for the episode...probably just a way to get more people to watch. It was still a great episode.
