Joaquin Gets An Honorable Mention
Joaquin Phoenix was looking pretty darn cute at a photocall for his new movie, We Own the Night at Cannes. The movie, which also stars Eva Mendes and a sadly absent Mark Wahlberg, is about two brothers who get involved with the Russian mafia. At one point Eva and Joaquin were battling on-set dating rumors even though she has had a long time boyfriend. We could understand the temptation but unfortunately, we're sad to report Joaquin didn't make it on to BuzzSugar's Boys of Summer List. It's pretty hard to compete with Johnny & Orlando but we'd like to give him an honorable mention.

32I love Joaquin Phoenix, he is one of the best actors I know. And I think he is really handsome, although I still think he looks a little chubby for my taste (I personally like the way he looks in Quills). But it really upsets me the fact he´s got his teeth fixed: the one he had in the line of the scar (or birth mark as I read somewhere) was sort of behind the others (and I loved that, little flaws sometimes make you unique). Now it looks like he had one of those veneers put on (like everybody else in Hollywood).

34The spirit of Cannes is all about good quality films. Most directors who have won couldn't get funding for their films and Cannes has helped do just that! Nicole Kidman has worked with Lar because he became a hit after Cannes. That's the spirit!
