Tom Cruise was off to promote Valkyrie earlier today, which meant that Katie and Suri got some girl time together on the beach and shopping in Brazil. Looks like the ladies skipped the swimsuits this time, but Suri still kicked off her Mary Janes for a stroll in the sand before grabbing some ice cream. Tonight Katie will be back to red carpet duty for Tom's big premiere, so she'll have a fresh sun-kissed glow to go with whatever outfit she chooses.

she's probably sooo whiny....once kids hit that age, they're either incredibly cute and fun to play with or they throw tantrums and give constant head aches....I take her as the latter but she is cute
