Personally Brad and Angelina put me off Cannes.

Honest reviews of the films in Cannes in quality newspapers that we get here in UK. Sorry but Ocean13 didn't get a good review, the other famous one got okayish review by the press. I loved Helen Mirren and the fact that she was there to support the whole festival was fantastic. She was the underdog for a long time and one day boom she is the queen of hollywood this year. Just shows you how fickle the whole fame thing is.

I am definately going to see Zodiac. It has good reviews here in UK.

By the way I am glad this is the last of the ocean film!

oh, since we are on the subject ( i will get a lot of virtual punches for this) Brangelina make me chuckle. They really do. There is a really good article about them in the guardian newspaper in uk. They sat with the dictator in namibia happily for the press conference and used a bevery hill's doctor for the birth in africa (she said i wanted to give birth in africa because most women are expected to do it all the time, well they do it without a doctor from LA Jolie!). The donation was for the hiring of the country and the whole thing somehow has turned them into the god and goddess of generousity. Jesus! I am so not easily fooled and thanks god for sensible and critical journalism!

annaerkul they had a private doctor with them all the time, he was hire specifically to look after her. He was the one in control of her birth not the african doctors. He visited a few hospitals with jolie probably because they wanted to see which was was the most equip for the birth. Whatever...

I'd imagine that bringing her OB from Los Angeles was more of a comfort thing. Giving birth for the first time is probably overwhelming enough, so I don't think wanting to have a doctor who's been with you all along is strange (even if you have to fly him in, hehe). The doctor himself said that he ended up not doing very much since the hospital had competent staff.

Anyway, I forgot to say that I'm also very excited about My Blueberry Nights.

If i could be bothered I would tell you the difference between obsession and worship I can't, I said nothing about worship, (ps i worship no one), you are obsessed. obsession can be in many forms and reading about people you dislike and constantly discussing them proved that. You know oh so much about the birth, i think angelina has stated herself that her doctor was there in case of emergency but was not used only local doctors were used and that he visited local hospitals to see what equipments they needed, those were then donated, for you to be arguing otherwise proved my point, why is this even an issue a year after the fact?.......

not going to choose, i loved them all.

and, since the subject was raised, i recall reading what figurine said, which is that angie's private doctor ended up not doing much given the quality of the local staff.
